Her mother was a fight dog, so was her father, even her grandparents, although nobody is proud of it. Their masters beat them until they are numb when someone loses a battle. They are fed 3 times a week, and each cage is only large enough for them to stand in it. They are always dirty and sick because their cages are never cleaned. They are forced to stand knee deep in their own waste. One day, Jaws is rescued from dying in a terrible trap her master created to kill her, and discovers what a true home is.
