Growing up, nature was something that was very much tied with my identity. So just imagine, waking up one day and realizing the pond you'd admired, the one with so many good memories had been shut down. Because of people.

#PlanetOrPlastic In this story the marine life share their experience with the result of human invention. As plastic ends up in the worlds oceans more and more marine life are subject to implications of this matter and are forced to introduce this in their daily living.

Hi, I'm Molly. I'm 19 and live in a beautiful part of the English countryside. Due to ill health I've been unable to visit the sea but have a love for it. I have also been too ill to write or read for the past few years, so this is one of the first stories I have written in a long time. My mum created the picture attached after our discussions and reading my final story.

The beauties of diving are ruined. Pound after pound of plastic is dumped into our oceans. What will it be? Our products or the life of the one thing that makes us the "Blue Planet".

Lost in the rhythmic percussion of waves. My first entry and short story for the #PlantOrPlastic to 'wake up the world to the potential impact of single-use plastic' I think it is so important to impact the world on the harmful effect plastic has on wildlife. I take pride in picking up pieces around my neighbourhood and I am so happy to become apart of this experience in using the Wattpad platform to make the world aware of the harmful risks of it. Although my account may be small, carrying barely any followers or views on any work I publish, I am more than happy to use my voice in order to be heard by at least somebody! Thank you for letting me be apart of this magnificent eye-opening writing competition.
