This is my second entry to the #PlanetOrPlastic story writing by the the National Geographic, in their fight against single-use plastics. Alya, A 16 year old Sudanese girl who is trying to do things "the right way" ... Get good grades, stay away from boys, pray five times a day, stay away from boys , obey rules, stay away from boys... you know... the usual arab package ... Alya finds herself facing danger when her childhood friend Osama moves in to town. Determined to keep things "halal" Alya completely ignores Osama's existence...but to her surprise a marriage proposal pops up on her Facebook messenger two weeks after Osama's family have moved in. Can this be a coincidence? Or is the hot childhood besty really asking her hand in marriage? As circumstances test her will, her faith and her devotion to her parents...Alya realizes that you don't need chains to be restricted.... Based on a true story

This is the story of a father who wanted to find a good home for his coming children. With a kind turtle by his side, he ventures out to find a beautiful coral reef which she has described countless times to him. But what he doesn't know is that she hasn't been there in 100 years, and the humans have taken it over. -This is my entry for the Planet or Plastic challenge- •Complete• (No violence, no cursing, no mature content)

A short story about a little sea horse who was forced out of his home and now his life revolves around plastic. Was written for the Planet or Plastic campaign.

Hello! This in my entry for National Geographic's #PlanetOrPlastic writing contest. In 500 words or less, we were asked to write a story, that was inspired by 2 photos presented. The story can be fiction or non fiction. But on this challenge, i prefer to write a fantasy about Sea-horse's family. I just had fun writing it. A short 500 word story from a "bird's eye-view" for National Geographic's #planetorplastic contest.

The Institute for Cetacean Advancement quietly controls Earth, harnessing the intelligence of captive whales and dolphins to solve human problems. Dr. James Morris is their leading bioengineer. His best friend is Coda-9994, the genius and potty-mouthed hybrid sperm whale destined to be sent off to the ocean planet Ouroboros. With humans having rendered Earth's ocean uninhabitable, the ICA insists it's the only way to find a new homeworld to serve mankind's needs. But Coda doesn't want to go. He grows angrier at Jim with each passing day for doing nothing. Desperate to redeem himself in Coda's eyes, Jim finds himself tangled in a conspiracy to bring the ICA to its knees. But how willing is he to get his hands dirty? How far will they go to break humanity's cycle of self-destruction? ~My submission for the #PlanetOrPlastic challenge by National Geographic. Hats off to National Geographic for taking the first stand against plastic pollution. A glimpse into the daily lives of creatures under the sea from the creatures points of view. How does what we do affect them? Are the happy in their lives? What do they think of us humans? This story tells my thoughts on the fore mentioned questions, and raises a few of its own, the main one being, Should we continue what we have been doing even after knowing how it affects sea life? This is an answer only you can give. So think on it while reading the story.

Nerd???? ... she's living a very peaceful life w/ her adopted parents that a gangster leader.. BUT !!! what if she discovered something?.. and that something will lead to her true home... would she believes that she's a PRINCESS ? not just a ordinary princess but a powerful princess that will save the magic world?.. .. What if she found a very mysterious guy that is cold ,emotionless and powerful would she fall in love? But!? What if she found out that the mysterious guy was there enemy?
