Feelings of Mother Nature about her son's invention of Plastic.

When she's feeling bored, she listens to the sea. She's dead and stuck at the bottom of the ocean, after all. There's not much else to do. For the past few decades she's been hearing the same thing, repeated over and over again. She hears the sea as it carries the cries of the humans.

My entry for #PlanetOrPlastic , written from the perspective of a marine creature.

A world yet to come.

The world has changed drastically. As an English project, a young teenage girl writes a letter to the younger generations about how earth became almost unlivable. Only a few humans are left. It's a warning to the younger generation. This is a fantasy short story for the #PlanetOrPlastic Writing Contest to help fight the battle against plastic in our waters.
