Wattpad teams up with National Geographic to raise awareness of pollution issues. This is my 500 words contribute to the cause. I hope they're enough!

Young Adult Fiction entry for #planetorplastic writing contest with National Geographic. When Jenny takes on mean girl Felicity at the podium, she might just have to fight dirty if she wants to make her point. What could be worse than facing off with your nemesis in a schoolwide debate? How about having to collaborate with the one person who stands for everything you despise? Passionate environmentalist vs. Apathetic user and abuser Bottom of the social ladder vs. Queen Bee Unrepresented animal welfare vs. Prep school privilege It's an environmental showdown.

I wrote this short story for the National Geographic #PlanetOrPlastic writing contest. My story is written in the format of a epistolary - a series of letters. It follows five people's correspondence to friends and relatives throughout the history of modern plastics use, from the 1946 National Plastics Expo to a time in the near future when plastic and other types of pollution and debris threaten to destroy the Earth's oceans and throw awry the balance of gases in the atmosphere, temperature and weather patterns, and varied marine species' food chains, to a point where there is no chance to turn back. I hope you enjoy my story and that it inspires you to rethink your role in protecting our Earth and its indispensable marine habitats!

A planet is consumed by a horrible being that threatens to destroy them all. This is my story for the National Geographic contest #PlanetOrPlastic. Yealiya falls in love with the ocean and then will do anything to save it. My goal with this story was to inspire people reading it into knowing that they really can make a difference in this world! A ripple becomes a wave and people have already started countless ripples! You can join into making the waves bigger or you can even start your own ripple! It all helps though in making the ocean before for humans and animals like! This is an entry for the #PlanetOrPlastic contest! And it's exactly 500 words lol

This magazine entry shows Susan Potter, a woman who donated her body to science. She though she was going to die before she spoke with the professor who was going to teach kids with her body. She lived to 2015. 2 years later, she shows the world the inside of a human body.
