Part two of my second poetry book in the "You" trilogy, from "Love You" comes "Darker Side of Love". Because my poetry books are of a lengthy matter, I've wanted to make a divider since the beginning of writing them but the opportunity never came about, until now. This second part to "Love You", is in a way a break, the change in a relationship, a point where a person makes you notice and come to terms that love isn't always bright and heartfelt but aching, possibly tormenting, confusing and ridden with questions and thoughts about yourself and the one you care for, at least some loves are of this complexity. Love is a fickle game, really and whether it's true, one sided or simply something undetermined your feelings aren't irrational, they matter just as you do.

The Highway tells about the dangers of hitchhiking, emphasizing the effects of what happens when someone (in the poem's case, a traveling family) picks up a hitchhiker with bad intentions.

You and druig weren't really close in the beginning as sersi and makkari kept pushing you two together, but the thing is, is that nobody knows the actual secret between you and druig...

-This book is about a stalker, like joe from 'you'.. there's only 2 characters obviously, and background characters who doesn't have names. Matt is the male character name, and Tasha is the females name. My first book, so bare with me! and give me tips please:)

This poem was written as an emotional response to a song called, "Only the Winds" by Olafur Arnalds. As I listened to the song, I "responded" by writing what the song made me feel. The poem is best experienced if you read it while listening to the song. I'm including a video of it with the poem!

A girl that like but never pursue, a girl na laging umaasa na kaya rin mahalin ng taong mahal niya, but it everytime she confess her feeling, it always turns out na lalayuan siya nito. That is why she stop looking for someone who can love her instead she did everything to have a stable job so that she can spoil her family. But what if after how many years of having a peaceful life, the person who she confess after how many years also love her but scared to love her that time, but now willing to pursue her. Is she willing to give it a try or be frightened to take a risk.
