Soon the leader falls ill and everyone blames Brackennose and form together to try to exile him from the clan. Snakepelt has always been forgotten and left behind in her clan, they even forgot to make her an apprentice! Snakepelt has come to accept being ignored by almost everyone, but when the deputy mysteriously goes missing all eyes turn to Snakepelt.

This is a short story that I created about the origins of suffering. Ya know, like the title says. Anyway, if you enjoy it, let me know and maybe this could be a religion in another book that I'm working on. Unless it's garage. Then I will try and forget that this exists.
