For while we are still in this tent, we groan under our burden, because we wish not to be unclothed but to be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. - 2 Corinthians 5:4-5

MELANCHOLY | MAY GARNER | AVAILABLE ON AMAZON! β‹†Λšπ–€“Λ–Β° This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly you begin to forget I ever existed. All of me - the parts of flesh you never quite learned to love slips quietly down the drain. I am waiting for the day your fingers unscrew the pipes, dig through the mess, scrape your heart against rust, just to find me again, so we can do it all over. Here, in these pages, I find myself. In ink pressed against my flesh, I whisper the sadness, the heartache, the decay meant for all the unspoken. β‹†Λšπ–€“Λ–Β° A Poetry Collection by May Garner. Some stories are written with ink. This one wasn't. It fell out of me... sometimes as a sigh that stayed longer than my breath, sometimes as a smile with nowhere to go, sometimes as tears that knew her name before I ever dared to speak it. These pages are not poems. They are the places where my heart chose words instead of breaking. Perhaps you'll find someone in them. Perhaps you'll find yourself. Or perhaps... you'll simply leave carrying a feeling you won't know how to name. After all, the deepest emotions have never needed a language. Best Rankings: #10 In Poem on 24-Jul-26

The Choice of Compassion is a collection of poems born from my deepest conviction that poetry is a divine language - one that can touch hearts, awaken empathy, and remind humanity that there are still souls on Earth whose hearts are vast enough to feel compassion for both those who are like them and those who are not. Each poem flows from a heart devoted to true love, wisdom, and truth - a humanitarian spirit intertwined with both joy and sorrow. In many of my verses, I remember and honor my Lord, Saviour, and Messiah, Jesus Christ, for He is the source of my strength, my peace, and my everything. Through these humble but powerful poems, I hope to sow seeds of kindness, to nurture forgiveness where pain has taken root, and to reveal that the choice of compassion is not only an act of unconditional love - it is the sacred path toward a more merciful and peaceful world. If my poems touch your heart, I pray you will share them with your friends, your family, and with those who are in need of them. May God bless you all abundantly. You are all in my heart and daily prayers.

⚠️ WARNING: Highly relatable content ahead. ⚠️ We have all written some truly terrible poetry atleast once in our life. I have written too many of them. An Ode to Bad Poetry is a collection of awkward metaphors, forced rhymes, and chaotic late-night thoughts usually hidden deep in the notes app. It is the song you fixed with poor vocabulary, the conversation about heartbreaks and moving on you had with your friend and the existential crisis that visits you every Tuesday. It is the place where I expressed my most vulnerable thoughts instead of going to therapy and everyday delusions of a non-existent love life. Think of this book as a chaotic group chat with your best friend who isn't afraid to say the absolute wrong thing. Because honestly? Sometimes "bad" poetry is the most real art there is.

{πŸ†πŸ₯ˆVersification 2026 Grand Daily Prompt Runner Up} Some stories don't end - they linger, like April rain on quiet days. π‘¨π’‘π’“π’Šπ’π’Šπ’‚ is a collection of moments that exist in the in-between - where beginnings feel uncertain, endings arrive softly, and emotions refuse to fade completely. Each poem captures fragments of connection, loss, growth, and quiet realization, unfolding like petals that never fully close. This is not a book of perfect endings. It is a book of almosts, echoes, and afterglow - of feelings that stay long after they should have left. Step gently into π‘¨π’‘π’“π’Šπ’π’Šπ’‚, where every page holds a piece of something once felt, and never entirely forgotten. Tasha Cindy Kunda's third poetry collection is an intimate archive of growing up, moving through the noise, and finding a voice in the quiet. Writing since a young age, she has spent years capturing raw moments, unsaid thoughts, and the subtle shifts of everyday life into verse. Deeply inspired by her older cousin & the small details &, the weight of quiet moments, this collection marks her most honest and resonant work yet. It is an exploration of identity, growth, and the spaces in between, written for anyone who has ever looked for their own truths between the lines.

Dear Diary, Today, I remembered that crowns are not made of gold. They are made of survival. They are forged from girls who were told to be quiet but learned to speak. From women who were told to be less but became more. From hearts that broke, healed, and found the courage to beat louder than before. They called her dramatic when she spoke. Difficult when she questioned. Rebellious when she refused to bow. So she picked up a pen. the Queen Diaries is not a story of princesses waiting to be saved like damsel in distress. It is a collection of poetic diary entries written by queens - queens who were never given thrones, only battles. Queens who have been silenced, underestimated, broken, healed, and reborn. Through intimate confessions, silent battles, fierce rebellions, and quiet moments of hope, these pages explore feminism, womanhood, identity, resilience, self-love, and the lifelong journey of becoming. These are not merely poems. They are confessions. They are revolutions. They are crowns woven from words. Each entry is a fragment of a kingdom built from courage. Some pages carry heartbreak. Some burn with rage. Others bloom with healing and hope. Together, they tell the story of women refusing to shrink themselves for the comfort of others and discovering that their power was never something the world could give - or take away. This is not a diary of fairy tales. It is a diary of survival. Of resistance. Of becoming. So, turn the page. You may find pieces of yourself between the lines. Because every scar is a chapter. Every voice is a revolution. Every woman is a queen. Welcome to the Queen Diaries. A queen is waiting to tell her story. Perhaps, she is you. ✎﹏﹏﹏﹏ ɴᴏᴛᴇ: If you are reading this story on any other platform other than Wattpad you are very likely to be at risk of a malware attack. They walk among us. They hide in the elements. Or perhaps...they are the elements. Rules and limitations reside in all civilizations. The gods, or elementals as they prefer to be called, are no exception. Their job had always been to work together and coexist; much like the mortals. Though, how can one easily coexist when you have been pitted against each other from the start? They were not all created equal, with some having more natural gifts than others. The mortals have come up with their own stories and logic for the gods. The elementals try to share their truth. What is real and what isn't? What do you believe?

"The night has said all it needs to say, but the ink isn't dry-it's just moving to a new page." From the creator of The Whispers of Night comes a companion volume born from the same soul, written by the same pen, and carrying the same beautifully enduring scars. The dark may be thinning, but the poet remains unchanged. The Whispers of Dawn does not promise a world free of shadows, nor does it offer shallow, fleeting warmth. Instead, it is an unfiltered look at the horizon through the eyes of a survivor. It is the quiet stillness that follows a lifetime of storms, where the fragments of heavy memories, deep-seated grief, and an unyielding devotion to the Divine Mother are held up to the first rays of morning light. Moving away from the suffocating cold of the winter cage, this collection steps onto a road of profound definition and universal acceptance. From the silent prayers offered at stone shrines to the fierce, complex sacrifices of love and survival, Evander Nightborne explores what it means to carry a fractured heart into an awakening world. The ghosts have been housed. The dawn is breaking. And through the gray mists of morning, the soul finally learns to breathe again.
