When the crown falters and the land is cursed, Three shall rise One who fights, One who speaks, One who rules. Together they may break the darkness... Or be the reason it devours the kingdom.

Late bloomer : someone who becomes successful, attractive, etc., at a later time in life than other people.

Bhanu Bajpai is known to be the vengeful, hateful woman who didn't know any better than hating on her sister and her husband. She burnt, in her own flames, living a life of loneliness and self torment. Shashank Singh Rajput, was not known to anyone, not as who he truly was. Calm, yet rebellious, a calculative businessman yet a poet. He was a paradox. When their paths cross again, decades later, things have changed. Both of them had closed the doors to love. Yet, love is what torments them both.

I whispered that I'd be good, Swallowed my screams and wrote instead. So I wished to be amongst them and be understood, I decided that even as a corpse I wouldn't be dead.

We all fall in love once with someone; we experience it, but it is not in our control to have that someone. So, the story is all about that: college romance and the afterlife.
