This collection of poetry explores the complex feelings of one navigating through the choppy waters of young adulthood. As the poetry and prose contained in this story follows my own mental hardships, I hope someone dealing with or having dealt with the same distress and sometimes bliss of the unknown can find some solace in these words. Some love stories grow loudly. Others unfold in silence, guided by patience and prayer. The Quiet Between Us tells the story of Ziya Noor, a woman who loves deeply but waits with faith, believing that what Allah has written will arrive at its destined time.
