This book is about what we inherit without asking: love, silence, fear, strength, tenderness, and memory. Not everything passed down is visible. Not everything is meant to be carried forever.

A broken heart doesn't know how to stay silent. These letters were born from sleepless nights, heavy mornings, and afternoons where love kept hurting, even when it was already gone. This book is for the feelings we hid, the love we tried to protect, and the goodbye we still wish we could rewrite. Each letter is an attempt to heal, to remember without breaking... while a small but stubborn hope imagines that maybe destiny will find its way back again. "Letters for a Certain Someone" isn't about just one person... it's about all the people who once meant the universe to us, even if they never knew it.

What is a writer if not a slave What is a soul without a mask What might a person be without a lie And what might you be if not your own We watch in fear as we are written in tails Watching the horrors we go through You wake up one day and you will feel numb As if your soul has left you barren My name is miles, and I am 1 of 8 billion There are only so many writers And yet I chose to be Trial and Error, we all find our way at some point

Poetry can say a lot about a person. How they feel, what they believe in. I like to think of all this as a way I represented myself, as well as how I still do. Please enjoy and forgive my terrible errors; some of these were written 3 (or more) years ago and I haven't had the heart to change them. Cover by @peakyboo If you need a cover you should definitely check her out!

hello again! another poetry book - number four, to be exact. if you've been here a while, you know the drill: there's no order to this thing, and after 100 poems or writing pieces, there's gonna be a new book. about the cover: it was a Thursday at Street Spirits, a local theatre group in PG. I was waiting outside the building, and it started raining. I liked the aesthetic of it. it gave off a very "theatre of the oppressed" feel, which is what Street Spirits does. I loved it. every time I see this photo, I'm taken back to rehearsal. STARTED: Jan.18.22 FINISHED: Jul.20.22

The Olives Archives is a curated collection of poems that carry emotions so dense they pierce even metal hearts. These are not gentle verses written for comfort; they are poems forged in pressure-pressed, bruised, and preserved like olives beneath stone. Each poem in this archive holds an intensity that lingers. Love is not romanticized; it is exposed. Pain is not dramatized; it is distilled. Joy appears sparingly, but when it does, it tastes earned. The collection moves through vulnerability, resilience, longing, identity, and healing, documenting emotional truths often hidden beneath composure and silence. The title The Olives Archives reflects both preservation and endurance. Like olives, these poems are bitter before they are nourishing. They demand patience, honesty, and the willingness to sit with discomfort. In return, they offer clarity, depth, and recognition. This archive is for readers who feel deeply, for those whose hearts have hardened not by choice but by survival-and for anyone brave enough to let poetry cut, open, and ultimately soften them again. 1. "Death is-" is a haunting anthology that explores the nature of death through the eyes of the one who takes the soul. Is Death-your mother-your daughter-your mistress-or your widow? Is she lonely-burdened by the eternal task of claiming life's end? These poems delve into the complexities of death-not as a heartless force-but as a figure who defines life-while grappling with her own solitude and the loss of what she must take. Through raw and evocative language-this collection intertwines grief, self-loathing, and the existential questions that haunt us all.

In Shadow of Becoming, a teenager stands at the crossroads of adolescence and adulthood, caught in a whirlwind of doubt and discovery. As they grapple with the complexities of growing up, they question everything they once believed-faith, self-worth, purpose, and trust. With each passing day, the weight of uncertainty grows heavier, casting a shadow over their journey toward understanding. This collection of poems reflects the raw and introspective struggle of a young soul wrestling with the shifting tides of identity and belief. Through moments of vulnerability and reflection, Shadow of Becoming explores the delicate balance between questioning and accepting, between searching for answers and embracing the unknown. It is a heart-wrenching exploration of the confusing path from youth to adulthood, where every answer seems blurry, and every choice feels like a step into the dark. The poems speak to anyone who has ever wondered who they truly are, what they truly believe, and where they are truly going. This is a journey of self-discovery, of growth, and of ultimately finding light in the shadows.
