The kingdom of Caltesla was once a formidable city-fortress until the Great War struck the kingdom, which resulted in the loss of many lives, especially a king. Many years have passed since the grim event and the kingdom has risen from the ashes of war. It was rebuilt on a high hill supplied by a series of lush waterways. A new king was appointed to the throne, and his first order of business was the formation of an organization with two purposes - capture outlaws and protect the needy. Thus, the Caltesla Explorers Guild was born! A building where any Pokemon can join and take missions by the king and other Pokemon, one can join others to form a team and search the whole continent for outlaws which are rumored to be hiding in mysterious dungeons.

But she's not. ****** Two months after May Maple claimed the title of Hoenn region's champion, she suddenly disappeared. After months of searching for the beloved girl, it was decided that she had run away. Brendan Birch can't accept it. A year after her disappearance, he is more reserved and cold. He's lonely. He's longing. But all begins to change when strange signs begin to point him back to the girl he loved, the girl he lost.

You are a criminal. The entirety of Hoenn is after you. However, May, Professor Birch, Archie, and Maxie all try to defend you. The crimes: 1. Shoplifting (You are literally homeless in this story) 2. Accidentally riding over children (You were making a getaway because you stole someones wallet so you could pay for a meal) 3. You stole some person's Pokemon to defend yourself

Sapphire is a girl who is afraid of power. With that, she doesn't do battling with her Pokemon and refuses to take the Pokemon League challenge. She didn't even get her first Pokemon until she was sixteen and her close friend, Steven Stone, had given her a torchic. She lays low, mostly staying at his house in Mosdeep city to the point she could be considered living there. Just as a friend, of course. But things begin to change. Steven is more tense and away more, and suddenly he is to the point of begging Sapphire to do the Pokemon League challenge and helping him solve Hoenn's biggest threats--Team Magma and Team Aqua. On top of that all, there is a tension growing between the close friends and hearts begin to have minds of their own.
