Penelope Featherington never thought she will be ravenous and tempted to taste human blood in her entire eternal life. When she met the third son from a prestigious family that goes back centuries, she never imagined that one of the descendants blessed with very sweet, warm, and delicious blood that surely be a challenge for her to ignore. She is rarely tempted to drink blood from a human being due to her sensitivity and empathy as she can detect whether a human is bad or good from their blood scent. People with wicked, gloomy, and dark scents will always make her shiver with fright even though she is a vampire, meanwhile, people with a kind heart will smell nice, friendly, and bright. Their scent can also shift rendered by their emotions. Due to her sensitivity, Penelope constantly consumes blood from animals but rather, blood that has been withdrawn from animals that will be cooked. Vampires can still eat human food with blood as their main food source if they expect to survive and compress their thirst. They can be a little crazy and aggressive if they don't consume blood for a few days. The better term to describe the behavior is 'feral'. Penelope Featherington finally faced her temptation to drink human blood after she meets with one of the brothers of her new human friend, Mr. Colin Bridgerton. Can she manage to suppress the attraction toward the man in terms of his blood and the feelings she felt ever since their first meeting? Not to mention, she cried when she saw his face for the first time. Who is the man? What is his role in her immortal life? Will anything change if she is weakened by the temptation?
