Hey! This is my Arcana story, there will be smutt/lemon so uhh if you're uncomfortable with that I'll give a chapter warning! Don't forget to vote who you want MC to be with! (I have a hunch it will be Julian,, the kinky bastard.)

So I inevitably downloaded this game a few days ago and I am absolutely in love with it, so I decided to try my hand at writing a fic for it. I do not own any if the characters or you. The characters belong to NixHydra and you belong to yourself. The first few chapters might be a bit choppy as I have never been one for writing. It's still undecided as to which character will be shipped with the dear reader, so you can vote in the comments on Part One. Don't be shy.

I could see my reflection in his pupils, my own reflection that made me think I was something more than just a part of our troupe. We used to stare at one another, and it was always my reflection that got most of my attention. It's as if the glimmer in his eyes meant glee for being with me. And yet, if they were my own reflections, why did he suddenly become so distant from me the moment I came back? So close to me.. yet so faraway.. unlike before, keeping his distance as if he was shielding himself from the person whom he used to look at vehemently. Note: This story arose out of my indignation at Portia's compressed story. I think it deserves to be developed better than in the original.
