In a world dominated by werewolves, Odette leads a simple, human life until what was supposed to be the best day of her life, her wedding day, takes a nightmarish turn. Luca, a powerful world-leader and Alpha, claims her as his mate, which forces her into a desperate fight for her freedom. Now on the run, Odette encounters challenges that will test her wit and strength. Will she surrender to the relentless pursuit, or fight back? ~~~ I round the corner to see a group of freakishly-tall and handsome men. There were three men in the group, one instantly stood out to me even with his back toward me. He had deep black hair and I could tell strong lean muscles were hidden beneath his button-up shirt. I falter in my steps a bit, something in my mind telling me to go another way, to ask someone else for help with directions. But I keep walking closer. Something else within me tells me it will be okay. As I get closer, the two men who were facing my direction look towards me and I stop, keeping a safe distance. Hopefully they are able to help me, and not turn me away just because I'm a human. "Hi, um, could you tell me where the front desk is?" The man whose back was facing towards me stiffened. "I think I'm a little..." The man turned toward me so quickly it made my heartbeat waver. His deep blue eyes pierced into my brown ones and called out to me. His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."

What if I make a seemingly random story about a rapture who is actually a reader insert surviving on the wild, meeting other raptures, Nikke, and humans. Then messing with plot in more ways than one? It's a crazy idea, so I'm gonna write it. Oh, and this story contains various experimental concepts that are plotlines for this fanfiction, and is Action Packed on later chapters. Yeji always thought the world would end in fire, or maybe in a flood. But when it came, the end was quiet-broken only by the groans of the dead. They rose in many forms: the stiffs, the lurkers, and the relentless swarmers that consumed entire streets. Humanity didn't fall in a single night. Piece by piece, it unraveled. And survival became more than just outrunning the dead. It became about trust. About hope. About love. And above all...about the ones who remain.

When a single scratch means death, it is paramount you find someone to watch your back. Unfortunately, survivor Caroline Wolfe has never had this privilege. When the plague began to ravage the world as she knew it, she was left to fend for herself, forcing her into positions she never wished upon anyone. The plague broke out five years before, killing over 90% of the world's population. It turned those she thought she could trust into mindless, undead, monsters and creatures controlled by survival, not loyalty. Caroline was lucky to have made it out of Ottawa alive, thanks to the help of her childhood in the Yukon, learning how to fight and survive with more traditional weapons. When she finds herself trapped within the confines of an abandoned apartment complex in what was Caledon, she has to make a choice. Either face the undead alone or help the mysterious, accented, skull faced man she finds within and tether herself to him for the foreseeable future. What she isn't expecting is to find someone she can lean on and, even, learn to love. The idea of a cure and the promise of answers loom on the horizon, but the question is if she can find it in herself to trust another. .。❅*⋆⍋*∞*。*∞*⍋⋆*❅。. This is a Call Of Duty fanfiction, but it does not follow the plot of the games. I do not own any art used, nor the characters of Ghost, Soap, Price and Gaz. I do own Caroline Amki, Cleo, Pearl and the two Scott's. This is the first book in the Pure Canadian Chaos duology.

Oh, look who's back. Did you really think 'The End' meant the end? Admit it, you missed us. Or maybe you just enjoy watching Ragia suffer. Either way, welcome to the Encore. It's been a year, and things have gone from bad to 'conceptually absurd'. The Reagalus system is lying through its teeth, the Krall are still a nuisance, and Ragia... well... he's as cranky as ever. Especially since he's still carrying The Pen around like a loaded gun in a crowded room, waiting for the universe to force his hand. We are hunting for a ghost of the past. A descendant of M'awoto, and I, your Narrator, will be here to document every sarcastic remark, every plot hole, every nonsensical plot, and every moment the universe decides to break its own rules. Sit down and get comfortable. The show isn't over until the fat lady sings... nope... until Ragia decides to rewrite the script. Yeah... Welcome to The Chaotic Fanfare Encore!

In the ruins of a fallen world, survival isn't a solo mission - it's a family effort. Ava, Conner, Frances, Tony, Axel, Davis, and a handful of children have built a fragile sanctuary deep in the wilderness. They aren't soldiers. They aren't heroes. They're ordinary people holding each other together with hope, grit, and the kind of loyalty only found at the end of the world. But everything changes when Frances's brother Leo and his son Adrian are dragged back into their lives - injured, traumatized, and hunted by a brutal faction known as The Blackened. Their arrival shatters the sanctuary's fragile peace and forces the group to face a terrifying truth: They're no longer hidden. They're no longer safe. And The Blackened want everything - their food, their walls, their children, and their future. As danger closes in, the sanctuary must unite like never before. Ava's quiet strength. Conner's fierce protectiveness. Frances's leadership. Tony's steady courage. Axel's loyalty. Davis's calming presence. Adrian's desperate fight to save his father. And the children who remind them all what they're fighting for. Together, they'll build defenses, forge deeper bonds, and prepare for a war they never asked for. Because in a world this broken, family isn't who you're born with - it's who you survive with.

Lucy MacLean was prepared for the horrors of the Mojave, the treachery of New Vegas, and the grim reality of her father's secrets. She was not prepared for a world where the grass is lush, the water is clean, and the "mutated" wildlife is actually quite cuddly. Ripped from the wasteland by a freak Radstorm anomaly, Lucy finds herself in the vibrant Kanto region with nothing but her Vault 33 jumpsuit, her trusty Pip-Boy, and a 10mm pistol she really hopes she won't have to use. When she mistakes a stray Eevee for a friendly "Dogmeat," Lucy is thrust into the path of a loud-mouthed kid named Ash Ketchum and his colorful companions. In a world governed by the "Golden Rule" of Pokémon battling, Lucy must navigate a culture clash of epic proportions. While Ash dreams of being a Master, Lucy is just trying to find a way home without scavenging the neighbors' trash for bottle caps. But as Team Rocket sets their sights on her "Vault-Tec" gear, Lucy realizes that whether you're in the wastes or the woods, some things never change: War... war stays the same. But maybe, just maybe, kindness doesn't have to.

This is just a fan translation. All original content and rights belongs to the original author/publisher. Synopsis: Shi Hanli, with her cool handsome features and a sharp, short haircut, found herself transmigrated into a post-apocalyptic novel. When she first awoke, her body was covered in mud and blood, the sound of flesh being chewed echoed nearby, and a knife was hurtling toward her forehead, poised to execute her as a "zombie." The System arrived belatedly, informing Shi Hanli that due to a programming error, she hadn't become the naive and sweet female supporting character she was supposed to be. Instead, her original self had transmigrated, meaning she didn't need to follow the plot. However, the System's built-in Evolution System still belonged to her. From now on, her sole mission was to "survive." As Shi Hanli gazed at the zombie-infested world, her eyes gleamed with the predatory hunger of a wolf spotting a flock of sheep. As time passed, everyone in this world seemed to have developed some kind of mistaken perception. One of the male lead's subordinates knelt on one knee, his eyes filled with reverence. "Big Brother Shi, your will is the direction my sword points. I will follow you for life." The male lead's confidante blushed shyly. "Han Li, you are the only warmth I can feel in this cruel apocalypse." A world-destroying villain willingly abandoned his obsession for her, reverting to his former brilliant self. "If it's you, I won't oppose you." The male lead himself was utterly awestruck. "Brother Shi! Dad!" When others in the apocalypse mentioned Shi Hanli's name, they would say, "Lord Shi? He's the jade-faced god of death. How many lives do you have to dare provoke him?" Shi Hanli: ...... Isn't this supposed to be the male lead's script? Why does everyone seem to think I'm the male lead?

This story, Black Bird, is for the Open Novella Contest 2026, inspired by prompt #37. It is a post-apocalyptic novella told from the perspective of Ruth, a five-year-old girl with messy pig-tails who appears to be the last surviving human in a world ruined by a virus. Too young to understand what ended civilization, Ruth survives by following a vulture she calls Black Bird, who loyally leads her to food and shelter. Though the bird is a scavenger by nature, it shows an unusual familiarity with Ruth, neither fleeing nor attacking, and seems to watch over her. As Ruth navigates this world, her bond with Black Bird becomes both her lifeline and her greatest mystery. Told in a child's limited, literal voice, this story explores survival and dependency, and the unfolding of Ruth slowly beginning to understand what Black Bird knows-and why it has chosen to stay.

*Note: This is a rebooted version of an old story, that had its outline scrapped and reworked to fit the prompts for the ONC. Essentially, a new book for this competition. Only the core concept is kept the same.* ----- A ribbon, a hair-clip, a pen, a notebook and a radio, held in the arms of a sixteen year old girl... ... It's been four hundred of years since The Rot ravaged the world and sent people downward with its decaying touch, four hundred years since humanity has inhaled even a breath of fresh air and twenty years since the first fifth-generation child was born in the shelters deep underground. And now, beneath the poisoned earth at the edge of the world, only six of them remain living in the last surviving shelter, the last surviving Lifelight illuminating a darkened board. For the rest were claimed by The Rot. Protected at all costs, older generations shields the worst of the consequences, the worst of the panic, but truth cannot be hidden forever. With increasing tensions and increasing crime, it becomes clear that there are only two outcomes: to die in strife or to die in silence. That is, until an inexplicable hope presents itself in the form of a radio transmission originating from the single most uninhabitable place on Earth, the surface. But it's too late, too late for most, other than the most protected, the youngest, the fifth generation. The waiting game is over and now it's a race against time. Before The Rot reaches them, before they run out of supplies, the handful of survivors must reach out and find the source of the transmission. From this, there are only two possible results: death or a secured future.
