This is going to be a blog/journal sort of thing. I'm a black female and I want my children to be able to live in a society that doesn't target them because of their skin. I'll be posting poems, songs, posts, anything to address the problem in this corrupt society.

"A woman's place is in the struggle" Womanism is essentially feminism for women of color, but better. We know they claim "intersectional feminism", which supposedly includes us woc, but we want something more. Womanism focuses on issues inside of community as colors, and how that intersects with gender issues. The movement was created by black women. When the Prime Minister callously dismisses the plight of the poor, Arif's pent-up frustration erupts in a passionate televised plea for justice. His words ignite a fire of dissent across the nation, giving birth to the People's Movement, a grassroots revolution demanding change. As Arif rises from anonymity to become the voice of the oppressed, the government responds with brutal force. Yet, the People's Movement only grows stronger, uniting citizens from all walks of life. In a daring act of defiance, Arif leads a takeover of the National Parliament, broadcasting a message of hope and solidarity to the nation. The movement's unwavering spirit and Arif's leadership eventually force the Prime Minister's resignation.
