Prayforparis Stories

Studying journalism at uni we were always encouraged to watch and read the news everyday but I found this very hard, a lot of it was so depressing-such as the tragic #prayforparis attacks- although you wanted to be aware of what was going on in the world you also wanted to shut it all out and be oblivious. So I wrote this with the mentality of just as we have the freedom of speech to promote our opinions and make people aware of the awful things happening in the world- we also have the chance to report the amazing, uplifting and inspiring things that happen everyday too.

The Avengers assemble... for an early Thanksgiving dinner, and they all have to cook themselves! But a somber turn of events takes the group to Paris, where saving the day might be too late.

Aujourd'hui, nous sommes le 13 novembre 2015. Comme tous les vendredi soir Marie va boire un verre avec son chien au café en bas de chez elle. Mais ce soir, des terroristes en ont décidé autrement. Marie ne peut plus vous raconter son histoire mais son chien le peut. N'hésitez pas à lire le livre Vie de chien de Thierry Moral dont je me suis inspirée.

Everyone stops running and screaming they still heard gun shots and some helicopters. "Cmon hurry!" A mand said to he's wife. They run but then on of the terrorists killed both of them. They all wish that's Paris didn't have to pass by this.

Read along as the main characters William Armstrong and Helena Armstrong battle against the islamic state terrorist attack in France. They are just two ordinary tourist fighting for their life!

I'm starting this in November - so it starts with the French flag filter on Facebook. If any of you know any other trend, please let me know in the comments/messages. Also, if possible, let me know where you're at - that way, I can keep track of where this trend is going on. If you feel insecure doing sharing your location, you could be vague, send me a PM or not mention it. I want to keep a record of the "fashion" going on - because somethings get the spot-light and some just don't. Sadly, even the fraction of incidents that do get the spotlight are forgotten when something new starts. How many of you remember Amanda Todd? So, please, help keep this list around. That way, we can remember and go back to a "trend" and make sure that the "movement" was around for a reason. Movements may be: 1. On social networking sites 2. A change in profile picture (filters, charts, the text for an image), statuses, comments and so on that you see a sudden, rampant change in. 3. Not limited to any country 4. Not limited to any language (though, Mandarin, Korean etc might give me issues with translation - so, please help me there. If you can't that's fine - but I'd appreciate being informed about it.) I'm sure most of you know about the recent acts of terrorism that took place in Paris on Friday, November 13. I ask that everyone prays for those in the world dealing with the causes of these events.

So many of you know recently, depending on when you're reading this, France and a few other countries were attacked. It's just a oneshot thing to show my support. Some of the events in this story might be wrong, if I am asked to correct it more than likely I will. Thank you everyone for reading. #prayforparis

Alex and Katrina are star crossed lovers who fell in love at summer camp. They loved each other as much as they could in the number of days that they have. Missing Alex was hard, and realizing he lives in Paris and you live in Minnesota is way even harder.

In honour of the victims claimed by the disaster that was 14/11/15.

Just my thoughts on what happened on this tragical day.

After waking up to seeing that a variety of horrible terrorist attacks in Paris happened last night I thought I'd post this one I wrote after being so horrified about hearing of the beheading of aid workers last year by ISIS and the Charlie Hebdo attack in France in January. My thoughts are with the families who have tragically lost relatives to terrorist attacks. #prayforparis
