Prayforparis Stories

Studying journalism at uni we were always encouraged to watch and read the news everyday but I found this very hard, a lot of it was so depressing-such as the tragic #prayforparis attacks- although you wanted to be aware of what was going on in the world you also wanted to shut it all out and be oblivious. So I wrote this with the mentality of just as we have the freedom of speech to promote our opinions and make people aware of the awful things happening in the world- we also have the chance to report the amazing, uplifting and inspiring things that happen everyday too.

A short story and poem regarding the events that happened on Friday the 13th on 2015 and other horrifying events.

I'm starting this in November - so it starts with the French flag filter on Facebook. If any of you know any other trend, please let me know in the comments/messages. Also, if possible, let me know where you're at - that way, I can keep track of where this trend is going on. If you feel insecure doing sharing your location, you could be vague, send me a PM or not mention it. I want to keep a record of the "fashion" going on - because somethings get the spot-light and some just don't. Sadly, even the fraction of incidents that do get the spotlight are forgotten when something new starts. How many of you remember Amanda Todd? So, please, help keep this list around. That way, we can remember and go back to a "trend" and make sure that the "movement" was around for a reason. Movements may be: 1. On social networking sites 2. A change in profile picture (filters, charts, the text for an image), statuses, comments and so on that you see a sudden, rampant change in. 3. Not limited to any country 4. Not limited to any language (though, Mandarin, Korean etc might give me issues with translation - so, please help me there. If you can't that's fine - but I'd appreciate being informed about it.) I'm sure most of you know about the recent acts of terrorism that took place in Paris on Friday, November 13. I ask that everyone prays for those in the world dealing with the causes of these events.

Sooooo basically, I know that I'm not updating my fanfiction said right away and I'M SO SORRY FOR THAT!!!!! But, everything is still in progress! So didn't worry about that!! So, this is going to be a collection of updates on my life and stuffs so that you won't be bored!!! Thanks, and seeeee yaaaaa~!!!!!

Prayers go out

Silence for a moment the terrorist have spoken picking on Paris and now our hearts are all broken. Now this is just a poem which can make it no where but I just looked and seen everyone in tears. Paris is hurt and so am I as I look at the news all I can do is cry more than a hundred angels have been knocked down. I'm shedding tears as I kneel on the ground praying for Paris hoping it gets better the city of love now looks oh so bitter.

When I heard about the attack in Paris, I was very sad. So I thought I would write a short story about it. I hope you like it. #PrayforParis

I wanted to share some prayers I made for those who have suffered from the terror attacks in Paris. May this be a tribute for them and may God bless them. <3 (Note: I added French translations, but feel free to correct them in case they're wrong. :) )

The recent Paris attacks last month, has sparked backlash against the Muslim community. Society has painted this picture that the Muslimsame themselves are radical, yet we as a whole don't try to hear and understand the point of view of those who are not associated with this type of terrorism. This poem is inspired by three fictional stories that could relate to any person in the Muslim community.

If you are dealing with any pain, or if the world events have impacted you in any way this past week, I hope this will help you. I have inspirational quotes, motivational pieces, how I dealt with the loss of a loved one, and some other stuff. I will update based on feedback. The Avengers assemble... for an early Thanksgiving dinner, and they all have to cook themselves! But a somber turn of events takes the group to Paris, where saving the day might be too late.
