A short story and poem regarding the events that happened on Friday the 13th on 2015 and other horrifying events.

I'm starting this in November - so it starts with the French flag filter on Facebook. If any of you know any other trend, please let me know in the comments/messages. Also, if possible, let me know where you're at - that way, I can keep track of where this trend is going on. If you feel insecure doing sharing your location, you could be vague, send me a PM or not mention it. I want to keep a record of the "fashion" going on - because somethings get the spot-light and some just don't. Sadly, even the fraction of incidents that do get the spotlight are forgotten when something new starts. How many of you remember Amanda Todd? So, please, help keep this list around. That way, we can remember and go back to a "trend" and make sure that the "movement" was around for a reason. Movements may be: 1. On social networking sites 2. A change in profile picture (filters, charts, the text for an image), statuses, comments and so on that you see a sudden, rampant change in. 3. Not limited to any country 4. Not limited to any language (though, Mandarin, Korean etc might give me issues with translation - so, please help me there. If you can't that's fine - but I'd appreciate being informed about it.) Just my thoughts on what happened on this tragical day.

After waking up to seeing that a variety of horrible terrorist attacks in Paris happened last night I thought I'd post this one I wrote after being so horrified about hearing of the beheading of aid workers last year by ISIS and the Charlie Hebdo attack in France in January. My thoughts are with the families who have tragically lost relatives to terrorist attacks. #prayforparis

I wanted to share some prayers I made for those who have suffered from the terror attacks in Paris. May this be a tribute for them and may God bless them. <3 (Note: I added French translations, but feel free to correct them in case they're wrong. :) )

If you are dealing with any pain, or if the world events have impacted you in any way this past week, I hope this will help you. Aujourd'hui, nous sommes le 13 novembre 2015. Comme tous les vendredi soir Marie va boire un verre avec son chien au café en bas de chez elle. Mais ce soir, des terroristes en ont décidé autrement. Marie ne peut plus vous raconter son histoire mais son chien le peut. N'hésitez pas à lire le livre Vie de chien de Thierry Moral dont je me suis inspirée.

Prayers go out

Silence for a moment the terrorist have spoken picking on Paris and now our hearts are all broken. Now this is just a poem which can make it no where but I just looked and seen everyone in tears. Paris is hurt and so am I as I look at the news all I can do is cry more than a hundred angels have been knocked down. I'm shedding tears as I kneel on the ground praying for Paris hoping it gets better the city of love now looks oh so bitter.

I am currently going through a phase of poetry so thought I might as well publish them and see about getting some feedback so I can find out whether or not they are any good. hope you like them.
