Ils attendent. Dans le silence.

Through rich imagery and soft revelations, it captures the rare moment when the veil lifts-and you realize you're falling in love with everything. Especially what can't be named.

The world was and always will be a broken place. Because there is always someone who wants more and even the purest soul can't fix it, that's why we leave some things forgotten. But the truth about Doherty's secret is eagerly sought, and the question remains... Who will find it out first? May is a girl like any other, or at least she was. Ever since her mother was suddenly murdered, it's not the normal rosy life she have always lived. What would lead someone to do such a thing? Of course, she won't leave it alone and wants to find the murder together with the others at all costs, in order to return her to at least a little bit of a normal life. But the closer they get, the more they learn that their lives will probably never be the same. (some parts are unsuitable for people under the age of 15) I will be very grateful for your opinions, advices and reminders about mistakes (English is not my language and I'm not the best at writing in it so translating the story is not the easiest for me.. So i want to warn you in advance for the possible grammar mistakes..But I'm still trying my best and want to make the story available to my friends and fans from other countries. ^^) Enjoy it!

This piece is about the truth people avoid because it makes leaving harder: no one is interchangeable. It explores the difference between replacing a role and replacing a person, and the quiet way presence leaves permanent marks. This isn't comfort - it's recognition.

Somewhere Softer Now is a quiet letter about love that lingers without demanding, and presence that changes shape instead of disappearing. It speaks to the kind of connection that remains even in silence - the listening that stays when words run out.
