Max Caulfield has returned to her home-town of Arcadia Bay, Oregon after five years of absence. She came back to finish her studies under the tutelage of the world renowned Mark Jefferson and, most importantly, to reunite with her best friend, Chloe Price. Unfortunately, fate is cruel. After the fire at Caledon, Max and Chloe hit the road with Chloe's band. After the band's last gig before a long hiatus, Max and Chloe end up back home in Max's log cabin. Just when they thought the universe was done messing with them for awhile, it laughs in their faces as another disaster strikes. This time, the universe seems to be targeting Max alone.

This is an AU where Max never left Arcadia bay to help Chloe and Joyce grieve after the death of Chloe's father, William. Five years pass and Chloe is still mad and upset over the death of her father but she had also developed feelings for max who had helped her through the roughest part of the grieving period. Little to her knowledge Max had also developed feelings for Chloe even with the advances of Rachel Amber who just as Max was starting to be ok with her, disappeared. They find each other even with a huge storm approaching Arcadia bay. There are many twists and turn held inside of the fic so please do enjoy.

Max has always been confused about her feelings for Chloe. Even when they were younger, Max always felt a connection to her that was stronger than just a friendship. But as they grew up and Max moved away from Arcadia Bay, leaving Chloe alone, they started to drift apart. Max always wanted to be there for Chloe but it never came across that way to Chloe. Chloe thought she was abandoned and Max's feelings were still in a stir. Years later when Max came back, they started bonding again. Max was starting to realize how much she really loved Chloe. No one could match up to how Chloe made her feel. The more time they spent together, the more in love Max felt towards her. It was amazing. But sometimes... you just can't fix time.

Max never liked school dances, but after weeks of convincing from Chloe she reluctantly decides to go, as long as Chloe is her date. Pricefield fluff. Slight AU where Nathan is on his meds and getting great help and Rachel is alive and everything is okay.
