He touched a strand of my hair and tucked it behind my ear. Then, he turned around and and told my parents. "I want her. I choose her as my queen." Mother let out a gasp. I couldn't understand. It was almost as if my brain had been short-circuited and needed to be rebooted. Around me, everything was in fast-forward while I was in the middle of it. How could this happen? ❝Open Up. Isla furrowed her eyebrow, confused. She looked at the picture instead. It was of a boy and a man in his 30s. It was intimidating how they both looked alike. The same smile and blue eyes. The difference was that the boy had light brown hair and the man was dark-haired.
