With the progression of human society and the emergence of an ever-growing number of metahumans, there is unrest building in the vampire world; the struggle to remain hidden and striking from the shadows when they need to feed is becoming an increasing hassle, which they do not fancy. The two factions of the vampire society see different prospects as solutions. The Drucules, who already loathe the human race, wish to launch a preemptive strike on the human race in an effort to reduce its population. The Alucadians, more tolerant of humans, wish to emerge from the shadows with knowledge that could steer humanity into a lulling peace that would allow vampires alternatives to violence to obtain sustenance. Despite this, there is infighting within the vampire society that would see a civil war come about, infighting that seems to be fueled by a saboteur if anyone would care to observe events for more than two seconds. In the middle are Shade & Plasmasonic; their relationship could be on the line if the mystery behind this chaos is not uncovered. *Shade & Plasmasonic are illustrated by MarloMora. To̅mi, Amereth, and many other elves that have sought refuge in our realm have encountered a colossal conundrum. When an attack on Bedrock from an elfen hierophant spurs Amereth and To̅mi to return to Ihiosadore, Shade accompanies them in support of To̅mi and to help uncover the disreputable practices of the elfen prince. To̅mi has also been having strange dreams that she can't determine the validity of. An older elf promises that they will meet each other again very soon, but she can't remember who it is. Will they be proud?" he says and I stop dead in my tracks remembering my parents smiling faces "Our little hero" they used to say. Writing prompt for The Academy, an event for Wattpad's Superhero. A local video game meetup turns into an unexpected 'super'hero recruitment. Short story from my POV in present tense.

Cole Spencer was the loner of his high school. Sure he was some how dating one of the hottest girls in his year, but he still didn't fit into any group at the school. The only time most people paid attention to Cole was when they needed someone to pick on for the day. He just wasn't special, atleast that's what everyone thought. A urban legend of a hero who could jump into another dimension start to come back up as rumors of robbers and other low-level criminals disappearing without there stolen goods start making headlines. But heroes are just in comics, ain't they? Started on the 8/12/21
