Darkness threatens to destroy, leaving nothing in its wake. As winter arrives, the likelihood of survival diminishes to virtually nothing. Starvation, hypothermia, and attacks of the Nightengades leave the populus barren of spirit, watching as the ones they love fall around them. If fate continues on its path, all the Avifaunians will be dead by the first light of spring. Three treacherous months encapsed in darkness is all that stands between the promise of life and the eternal chasm of death. Three months to defeat the rogue army of Nightengades, specialized in the tactics of warfare in darkness and experienced in tundra forest survival. With the odds of success falling out of favor, no one can save them, except thee Queen of the Night.

But since this is a tale to be told during the merry holidays, its like a big wrapped box with a big huge ribbon at the top and consists of a gang of badboys with good looks, a coffee geek that seems to be stalking her, a thief that breaks into people's houses but steals nothing and let's not forget to mention about an ill tempered old man that attempts to whack ALMOST everyone with his walking stick. This consists mainly of a compilation of poems that I have written. Some may be based on different religions, cultures / diversities. I have also included a poem by Lewis Carroll and a few of my favourite quotes to end off with. Enjoy!

PROLOGUE: Skyler did a bit of growing up in her last year of high school. She had to get use to her best friend not being there all the time as he had to leave to attend college. He was not just her best friend but also her body guard and shoulder to cry on when life got difficult. Dustin also had to learning and coping to do without his best friend. He thought that university would be the same as high school, besides from the fact that he would be living alone. Yet soon, he realized just how much Skyler was part of his everyday life.

Harley Quinn has been captured, yet her boyfriend is still large. It's only been a few weeks, but she is already feeling the long effects of prison. She needs to get out. That's when they give her a chance. A chance to be reunited with the Joker once and for all. All she has to do is enter the Miss USA contest and stay in long enough to kill one of the contestants, who happens to be a main suspect for several recent murders. Seems easy enough for a girl like Harley, right? But when the tables turn and Harley's target tries to drown her, she can't. She can't because Harley can breath underwater. Harley has one more secret, though, one that might put not only her, but the Joker in danger.
