    AGE OF GLORY Book One · ~ · ~ · ~ · ~ · "Pietro," Wanda whispers to him in Sokovian, "Pietro, come back. Dear brother, I need you." His vitals come back on, only a moment passes before he flat lines again, but there's still brain activity. "Tony, more!" "I'm trying! Dr. Banner is way more suited to this than I am." Tony's hands go wild, trying to keep his new found, new lost, friend alive for one more second so that Wanda can work her magic. "Pietro!" Wanda yells, forcing will for him to live even harder to him. "Pietro, live!" Just as he vibrates at the highest frequency, his body escapes into a bright light, disappearing from their world. Wanda is in shock. His mind is ripped apart from hers like glue. She grabs her head in her hands, trying to contain a scream. "Tony, what the hell happened?" Tony gazes at the empty spot where Pietro was. His eyes are empty; shock makes him stumble. "I-I don't know." · ~ · ~ · ~ · ~ · In an attempt to bring Pietro Maximoff back to life, Tony Stark and Helen Cho create a machine that vibrates Quicksilver's naturally vibrating molecules at a level that raises his brain activity. Wanda Maximoff uses her magical powers to get inside his head to coax him back to the world of the living. Instead of bringing Pietro back, the machine sends his body and mind to an alternate reality, where the Avengers are in comics and movies, and Quicksilver himself is no more than a famed character among nerds. Glory Northern is a high school student, almost to college. Planning to major in Creative Writing, she plans to try to work for Marvel Comics, creating the very characters she loves so much. Her life is all but unplanned. What happens when a unconscious Pietro falls onto her front lawn as she's walking home? Does she run away, or more precisely, she run away with him? Will Pietro get back to the world where he's died, or will he choose to stay with Glory? [COMPLETED] {Cover by @CaroDelMonte © 2017}

    NEW VERSION! ~ Havenbrook City. Where nine o'clock curfews exist, and the streets are crawling with superhumans the public has cast out, known as Deviates. Everyone knows about the Deviates. Experts say they gain their powers under high-stress situations or freak accidents, but no one really knows for sure. They've never been studied up close, as not many people have survived a Deviate encounter. Stevie Jones is lucky to be a survivor, though she would have died if it weren't for a Deviate in black swooping in and saving her with his own power. But she's just trying to stay on the road her parents paved for her. Now that she landed a scholarship and is attending her dream class, it seems that her future is bright and on the right path. However, her attitude changes when she suddenly wakes up as a Deviate with no warning, no reason. Desperate for answers, she'll seek out the Deviate who saved her life before being a Deviate ruins her reputation. Even if he's not quite the nicest hero around. Derek Harvard, or "Dark," is a Deviate. And he hates it. Every day is a further struggle to keep his power and anger under control. Good thing getting his adrenaline fix and beating up the corrupt Deviates is just the stress relief he needs. When Stevie inserts herself into his lifestyle, he thinks this is going to be hell... but something about Stevie quells the fire teeming inside him, and it may be the only reason he's agreed to help her out. Working together, these two unlikely friends explore the underbelly of the world of Deviates, encountering jaw-dropping truths, an attractive ninja, and powerful fire-wielding foes hired to target them. That is, if Stevie can balance all this action with home life and school. If she keeps poking around with trouble, both worlds may have to collide. ~ Characters by Susan Ward and Gerald Gordon Book cover by Zander! Twitter is @artizan00 All Rights Reserved

    ONC 2026, Prompt 78: You begin to realize that nothing is quite what it seems ONGOING! Couture Magazine: the most prestigious fashion publication in the world, where hemlines are sacred, deadlines are deadly, and the coffee runs are... surprisingly literal. Every intern who walks through those gleaming Manhattan doors dreams of landing a full-time position-complete with vision, dental (including twice-yearly cleanings), and an endless supply of designer clothes fresh off the runway. Sure, the demands from editors, photographers, and even the notoriously temperamental writers can be exhausting. But an intern's day at Couture is pretty ordinary, right? WRONG. Alcide Lancaster is about to discover that his summer internship working for the iconic-yet-terrifying Ellen Montclaire comes with a few... unexpected job requirements. Like why he and a select few employees-including the formidable Editor-in-Chief herself-are the only ones taking mandatory two-hour lunch breaks. Why his thirty-to-fifty-something coworkers look suspiciously athletic, eerily youthful, and are borderline obsessed with eyewear that definitely isn't just a fashion statement. And why A-list celebrities who stop by the Couture offices seem less interested in the magazine's latest cover shoot and oddly fascinated with Alcide himself. But most importantly... What does any of this have to do with Alcide's late family, their disturbingly narrow worldview, and the real reason they wanted him out of their lives forever? All excellent questions for a young man trying to survive a summer packed with Fashion Week chaos, superpowered coworkers who treat the office like their personal runway, and a boss who's less Anna Wintour and more fierce-but-loving grandmother. Between navigating new friendships, an unexpected romance, and enough secrets to fill an entire September issue, Alcide is about to learn that in the world of high fashion... Not everything is just an illusion.

    In the halls of Georgwell High, she was simply Danika Madsen. But in the corners of Ember Valley she was none other than the most mysterious Anti-hero ever known. No one had seen her costume. But all that changes when three Wannabe-Superheroes come crashing down into the city center. Literally. After catching the eye of three rookies, everything changes. For better or for worse, you tell me. Throw in an old face, people constantly trying to befriend both her egos, a missing superhero and secrets that run deeper then she could've ever imagined, and one thing is clear: Looks like the new Supes on the block might be more important than she first thought. *** "Tell me, please. Who were you? Who were you before... all of this?" I let out humorless chuckle. "Who was I?" I never took my eyes off the city skyline. "I was a nobody. I was always a nobody and I always will be a nobody. So stop trying to figure out my story." I finally turned around to face her. "Because there's none to tell."

    Before we jump into the description, credit goes to @Niranju98 for the cover. "Sometimes heroes have to lurk in the shadows." He said. "Why?" I ask, still a little mad that he publicly kidnapped me just to prove he's a good guy. "Because, Babe, sometimes we're not strong enough to be in the lime light. Sometimes we have to hide in the shadows and catch them in surprise to win." He says, stepping a little closer, showing that he's at least a foot taller than I. "Then why am I in the light and not in your shadows?" At this he smirks, causing his signature clump of hair to fall in between his eyes. "You're stronger than you look, Babe." "Stop calling me that or I swear I'll freeze your tongue off. And is that your way of saying that I just look scrawny but hopefully you'll show up in time before they kill me?"
