When Stevie inserts herself into his lifestyle, he thinks this is going to be hell... but something about Stevie quells the fire teeming inside him, and it may be the only reason he's agreed to help her out. Working together, these two unlikely friends explore the underbelly of the world of Deviates, encountering jaw-dropping truths, an attractive ninja, and powerful fire-wielding foes hired to target them. Multiple supervillains have been seemingly compelled or hired by some unknown force to cause trouble in the city of Detroit. There's also a new girl in the fashion world who has a bone to pick with Vixen. Lily thought she was just a normal girl with normal parents... for 17 years of her life. Until one day a superhero saves her life , and reveals things about herself that she didn't even know. Like, for instance, did you know that superpowers can only be passed down genetically? Because Lily didn't... Which leaves her parents with some explaining to do. Now Lily has to come to terms and control her newly developed superpowers as fast as she can, with the help of a pair of superheroes the city loves (Lily isn't quite as keen on one of them). Because now she isn't just fighting for herself; she is fighting for the whole city.

But the last Dagger died under mysterious circumstances. The rest of the Armory won't tell her anything.
