Prologue Stories

The story is all about a girl named Celene. She lives a luxurious life with her parents. Even though she has everything, she experiences academic pressure from them. They push her to become the top student in her class. Even when she achieves those things, she still doesn't receive their attention. Only her older sister, Heather, who is now a lawyer, is noticed. Sometimes, her father abuses her when she gets low scores. She thought her life would always be like this until she meets someone who appreciates her efforts-her pocket of sanctuary-someone who takes care of her and loves her for who she truly is, not for her achievements, but for her own character.

After a cold winter of betrayal with more hearts than one broken, Sun-Hee is finally feeling okay. Good friends, stable job, boring life. But after that same cold winter, Seul-ki is finally feeling emotionless. With his only form of importance gone out of his life for years now, he doesn't seem to find anything fun anymore. So what happens when an unsatisfied and bored soul reunites with a newly healed, forcefully closed-off one? Will new emotions that weren't there before spark? Does distance make one grow fonder? Or will this attempt at a second chance fall apart between their fingers?

It has been three months since the dragonets "prophecy" came to fruition. Every Tribe was trying to adapt to the new peace, something that hasn't been experienced in years. For one particularly stubborn tribe, (cough cough, Nightwings, cough cough), they are having a rather rough time, just with the fact that they aren't constantly surrounded by lava and death. Though, one dragonet adapts slightly faster, (mostly due to not wanting to starve again), which leads to a... Rainwing, stalking him. Yeah, a Rainwing. Such unrefined creatures... they do so many strange things, they should be considered a subspecies of Dragons. - During a sudden Tribe meeting, a life changing event occurs for every Dragon present, a particularly "violent" and "blinding" one. (Ominous foreshadowing)-(Me personally, I would have tanked it) - Example dialogue: (this is used in the story) Kiwi freezes for a moment and the orange she is holding falls to the platform "huh?... well... I wouldn't call it stalk..." Fateseaker cuts her off immediately, "You watch me, from the shadows, while invisible... that's stalking", he continues eating. Kiwi scrunches her face up, trying to think of a sarcastic remark or something to defend her actions with, but alas, poor Kiwi can't think of a proper comeback, so she sits there looking like a agitated yet bloated crocodile. - (A story about Breaking "Fate") Writing gets better with each chapter. WIP chapters are technically "finished", but I'll add more details, better grammar, etc. The edited chapters will have a (rewritten # times) at the beginning. (Just a little disclaimer, this story will have some darker themes starting at chapter 5)
