"What is true hope, mother?" Maki Fukui asked. Her mother laughed gently and it seemed like a sound from heaven. "True hope is like a thunderstorm. First, the clap of thunder sends your mind racing for your journey. An idea that you can succeed. Your chest bubbles and puffs up, and your mind is clear. When rain comes pouring down, oh that peaceful rushing sound, you go off. Pain will soar..but you will not give up. Lightning strikes like an enemy who goes against your dream. That fizzing feeling in your brain and heart will clean up the feeling of defeat. You crush the enemy with true hope. And at the end.. you can see a rainbow. All those painted colors in the sky will complete your dream. It will show you that you had faith. Whether it's a shinobi's mission or finishing a race, life is a journey step by step. And you will need hope to complete your path." Her mother replied, smiling softly. ~~ Maki Fukui is a girl from the Fukui Clan. Her clan originated with the Hyuga Clan, but war broke out. The Hyuga Clan wanted to destroy all the Fukuis, for they were half cat. They were different. The clans separated, and a assassination occurred shortly after. The whole clan was killed, except for Maki. She lives in the world, with hatred controlling her. Her dream, which she thinks she has true hope for, is to kill the people who killed her clan. But..when she goes back to Konoha after many years, she makes friends. One is closer to her than any friend. Will he stop her nightmare like thoughts to overpower her? Animals are a part of our life, once entered become a family and be for them but there are many on the streets, craving for love and this poem is for them.

She couldn't see that sturdy and rigid man who always had everything under control. All she could see was a man who lacked love and attention. You were willing to lay down your life, what if I didn't want your life?" She asked very calmly in a way that irked him further. "Why?" He asked quietly. Instead of answering she said, "I love you" BANG! BANG! BANG!
