People will lie to you and tell you that everything will be okay. They'll tell you some bullshit story of how they were a troubled young adult and how they grew out of it. The thing is, nothing is ever going to be 100% okay. But for most of us, the ones that survive our teens and early twenties, things actually do start getting better. It takes time and it's so slow going that we don't even notice it, but it does happen. Now here's some poetry from along the way. This is my journey to being somewhat okay.
