A crew from Earth is sent to a nearby planet to determine if it is habitable. During their mission, they find that not only is it habitable, it has been inhabited previously. Heron, the more adventurous one of the crew, discovers a building with a being seemingly trapped inside. This discovery opens a Pandora's box that cannot be stopped alone.

They must find a 'common enemy'

Two women bound by the same values, yet separated by the lines they refuse to cross. One is composed and principled, her emotions carefully restrained behind professionalism and distance. She protects her heart with silence, with rules, with control. The other is attentive, sincere, and quietly brave- feeling everything deeply and choosing honesty over concealment. She protects her heart with truth, even when it trembles. Both are analytical, disciplined, and kind. Both believe in responsibility, respect, and fairness. Both carry empathy, loyalty, and an unspoken courage. And that is what makes it dangerous. Because when two hearts mirror each other so perfectly, distance doesn't weaken the bond, it sharpens it. In a classroom filled with silence, a glance lingers longer than it should. A voice softens without intention. And something shifts-gently, irreversibly. It is a slow-burn GL story about restraint and longing,and about ethics and emotions about connection that exists not in touch, but in the space between two people who feel the same but choose not to say it.

As Frozen ended for the fourth time that day, Scout let out a whimper and curled himself further into Kai. They rubbed gentle circles on his back before telling him that it was time to head up to bed. When they went to pick him up to carry him upstairs, Scout screamed in pain and they suddenly noticed how warm his little body felt and grabbed the thermometer to check his temperature again. "Shit," they muttered as the thermometer beeped, alerting them of his rising fever. "102.3? How did I not realize it was getting this high?"
