This is a story that I wrote for an English assignment, the assignment was supposed to be a 100 word memoir, but I went over by about 50 words. This is the story before revision. It's a very personal and yet relatable event from my childhood.

Not all will be inspirational. But some will be.

Sidney is a bit of an unknowing bad boy, he doesn't intentionally get in trouble, or have any bad motives. In fact, he's a bit of a push over. One day a detention goes sour as he meets a peculiar girl on his school roof. Before he could process, his life would never be that of a fifteen year old eastender ever again, no matter how hard he wished for it to be. Fable is the story of when boy meets girl, but not in the way you might think. This is the story of the girl on the roof. The first chapter was written for a 1000 word short story competition, so everything was a bit limited and I couldn't explain a lot. I liked where it was going so i've decided to continue here! I'm also very bad at summaries and blurbs so take my word, it's not as generic as I make it seem! [[Cover picture taken by me]]

With constant negativity surrounding her, fake friends who weren't there for her. Especially her closest friends turned their back on her even my best friend Ciara. At the same time, she battles depression, with no one to run to for help. Until, a guy, her classmate that goes to Clint high school confesses he has been having a crush on her for 2 years but never told her until now. #1 in relateable
