It's been a year since (Y/n) Straightway was set free of the Devil's debt. Life's been sweet and slow; full of peace and romance...and Straightway can't STAND it. Now that she's no longer the Bondsman to Ol' Scratch, our hero decides to quit twiddling her thumbs and pick up where her old man left off: working as a private detective. Everything seems to be running smooth and easy in Inkwell, the new detective only having to deal with petty crimes and passé snoop-jobs. AKA: "boring things." That is, until King Dice, her friend and current lover, storms into the office one morning framed and fuming. Looks like Ms. Straightway has finally caught herself a case... ....and she intends to crack it wide open.
