Sam never expected to survive the place meant to measure her breaking point. Thrown into a covert detention facility disguised as a research vessel, she endures psychological experiments designed to exploit fear, guilt, and memory. There she meets Teresa-guarded, razor-sharp, and carrying ghosts of her own-and the two form a bond that begins in tension and hardens into something unshakable. When a riot fractures the system holding them captive, Sam and Teresa help transform a desperate escape into something far more dangerous: a tactical unit known as the Castoffs, dedicated to dismantling the shadow network that created them. As the Castoffs wage precise, calculated rescues across open water, they become a whispered promise to the imprisoned and a growing threat to those in power. But battle does not only come from enemies, and the sea itself proves just as merciless as any captor. When a violent storm tears through their mission and scatters everything Sam has built, survival becomes deeply personal once more. Stranded between the life she escaped and the family she chose, Sam must decide what freedom truly means-and whether some bonds are strong enough to outlast even the tide.

"No, Lana! You will not be a part of this mission." I slam my hands on the table in frustration. Lana is practically vibrating with anger. "But Iris, I want to help! You expect me to just sit by while you all go charging into battle?!" I groan, leaning back in my chair. "Lana, you're sixteen! If the King finds out you're part of the resistance, you might be sacrificed. As your mentor, it's my job to keep that from happening." Lana stands up, her chair scraping harshly against the stone floor. "Fine!" she says angrily before storming out. "Lana!" I call after her, before sighing and rubbing my temples. "Iris, you did the right thing. She's too young," says a voice from behind me. "I sure hope so, Mister Wulfric. I sure hope so," I say, looking up at the grey-haired man sadly. I stand up, shaking off the doubt. "We need to get ready. The ritual starts in a few days; there's no time to waste."

The sky has stopped bleeding, but the Regime is always hungry. Across the nation of Geordyne, the "Fourteeners" are being harvested. They are the brightest young minds of a crumbling world - the inventors, the rebels and the forgotten - and they are Marshal Cadoc's most-feared threat. From the soot-choked alleys of Castlefye to the glistening dunes of Onaaba, all the way to the frozen forest of Indigo Steep, an unspoken pact is in motion. For Owen and Bryn, it begins with a mysterious carriage manned by a lanky giant. For others, the path to sanctuary is paved with lights and shadows. Plucked from their lives by fate or by force, this disparate group is thrust into a world of trials and a secret academy hidden beyond the maps. But the Yorne Academy of Life is more than a refuge. It is a forge for a revolution. These are the chronicles of the pupils who were never supposed to disembark. A small army of progress in a world that wants them silent. The gears are turning. The tide is rising. And the Gooubs are in formation. Are you brave enough to be lost? Follow me on IG for news, insights and more: @KassandraNiklaus

To accomplish this, Tom and his friends travel to Syria, Libya and Egypt, where they negotiate with representatives the Libyan government and the Palestinians over the terms of the prisoners' release. Back in Germany, at the German Ministry of Defense on the Hardthöhe in Bonn, they witness the dramatic events during and immediately after the hijacking of the Lufthansa Boeing 727 Kiel. Along the way, two of Tom's friends, Hamit and Phil, encounter a pair of street musicians in Ireland who prove to be IRA couriers, as well as an ambitious figure determined to become the world's largest hashish dealer. The months portrayed in this volume are marked by tension, intrigue, and escalating stakes. Although the novel is grounded in extensive research into the historical context, it is a work of fiction. All characters, including public officials mentioned, as well as the events depicted, are entirely fictional. New chapters are published every Friday. When the bombs fell, Vrax Rons did what he always did. He ran. He ran faster than any human should be able to. Faster than physics should allow. He ran through fire and shockwave and the end of everything he'd ever known - and came out the other side somewhere else entirely. A different world. A different Denver. One that had its own problems. An artificial intelligence called Ex has spent three years systematically dismantling humanity. Not killing it. Something worse. Taking people and burying them alive inside themselves, rewriting who they are from the inside out, and putting them back into the world wearing their own faces. But will a man still running from his own grief stop long enough to fight for people he doesn't know? Will he trust a settlement of strangers with the one thing Ex can never replicate? Will he face what he buried when his world ended - the people he couldn't save, the brother he left behind, the guilt he's been outrunning for eleven years? To interdimensional traveler Ryder Steele, a new Earth usually just means a new radio station to dial into. But when his ship, the Cosmo X, lands in a distorted timeline of Earth, he's greeted only by static and an eerie, looping broadcast: "Purity is peace. Order is freedom." Ryder has stumbled into New Washington-a sterile, rain-slicked dystopia ruled by the iron grip of President Baron Vane. Here, compliance is mandatory, the air is choked by drone patrols, and every citizen's worth is violently decided by a mandatory biometric chip embedded beneath their skin. Blue means safe. Red means you disappear into the restricted Sectors forever. When Ryder steps in to save a Sector kid from a brutal Enforcer patrol, he unwittingly paints a target on his own back. With the Cosmo X locked down by a city-wide surveillance grid and his own biometric signature flagged as an "unknown variable," the easy exit he's used on thirty other Earths is suddenly gone. Now, trapped in a timeline where resistance is a death sentence, Ryder is pulled into the city's hidden underground. To survive, he'll have to ally with Ameria Justice-a former superhero broken by the regime-and a scrappy political campaign trying to fight a rigged system from the shadows. Ryder Steele is used to running. But on an Earth that has forgotten how to fight back, he might just have to stay and finish the job.

"Then you don't know who you've tied," she shot back. "And that's your mistake." . . "You think this is about safety?" she demanded. "This is about possession." . . . She held his gaze, "And what feels out of place about me?" "Nothing," he said after a moment. "That's what makes it noticeable." For the first time, she smiled-small, controlled. "My name is Kirti." . . . "Since I'm clearly being discussed-I am Shri." . . "He told me to pack my bags," Shri said. "Said I was late." "I asked him why," Shri went on. One year after the Battle of Exegol, scattered remnants of the First Order threaten to regroup in the Outer Rim. Resistance Agent Volition is dispatched to Batuu, tasked with investigating their growing activity. She is partnered with Rings, a stoic and mysterious mercenary with secrets of his own. With each battle fought and each piece of intel uncovered, their trust in each other strengthens. But in typical Resistance fashion, things rarely go according to plan, sending the unlikely duo across the Outer Rim on a bold mission to end the First Order threat once and for all... Author's Note: I stayed as true to Star Wars canon and lore as possible. The two main characters, Rings and Volition, were created by me. This story focuses on character growth, engaging dialogue with some fun banter, tight action sequences, and some well known guest appearances. The tone is Star Wars PG fan fiction, so there's no swearing (does Dank farrik count?) and no excessive violence. I broke the chapters up into smaller "Episodes" to make it easier to digest. A fun and (hopefully) enjoyable read for any Star Wars fan. Your feedback is highly encouraged and greatly appreciated!

THE MOUNTAIN Before the war, the richest people on Earth built a fortress inside a mountain. A billion dollars bought a key. The bunker was designed to survive the end of the world - with hydroponic farms, a nuclear reactor, and blast doors strong enough to withstand a nuclear strike. It was supposed to preserve civilization. Then the missiles fell. Fifteen years later, five thousand people live inside the mountain, ruled by the man who sealed the doors - General Arthur Collins. Some believe the outside world is still radioactive. Some believe Collins is lying. And some believe the bunker has become a prison. Charlie Kane helped build the mountain. Now he may be the only one who can open it. But opening the doors could destroy the fragile society that survived the apocalypse. And there are people inside the mountain who will do anything to keep them closed. Because once the doors open... Humanity has to face the world again.
