They stole her mother's life. They shackled her father's soul. Now, the Moon is coming for her debt. For centuries, the floating kingdom of Parisea has thrived under a manufactured sun, a clockwork brilliance maintained by the corrupt High Council. But this "perfect" era was built on a foundation of silver blood and silent screams. Nyxus was born in the pale glow of the true Moon, the daughter of the fallen Moon Deity. She watched as the Council executed her mother to harvest her celestial essence, and she stood helpless as they dragged her father, the King of Shadows, into the Vault of Eternal Silence - using his very heartbeat to power the gears of the city. Exiled and branded a "Void-Spawn," Nyxus has spent years in the dark corners of the world, sharpening her silver scythe and her cold, jagged heart. Her goal is singular: Revenge. She doesn't just want the heads of the Council; she wants to dismantle the mechanical sun that mocks her mother's memory and free her father from his iron cage. But as Nyxus begins her bloody ascent through the layers of Parisea, she discovers that the city's "Light" is actually a parasitic Void-Eclipse that is slowly eating the world from the inside out. Her quest for vengeance soon collides with a desperate need for Redemption. To save her father, she must lead a rebellion of the "Unbound" - the outcasts, the half-wolves, and the broken dragons who have been trampled by Parisea's golden heels. In a race against the ticking of the Great Chronos, Nyxus must transform from a vengeful ghost into a beacon of Revival. She must decide if she will burn Parisea to the ground to avenge her family, or if she will become the new Moon the world desperately needs to balance the scales of fate. "You took the Moon from the sky," Nyxus whispered, her silver hair glowing with a cold, ancient fire "Now, I am taking the world from you."

Kurosawa Ayame was just a scriptwriter. When the otome game 'Jujutsu x Romance' was released, controversy exploded, especially over the route of Ryomen Sukuna. Too eerie. Too cruel. Too many bad endings. Players raged. Ayame only laughed. After all, wasn't that exactly how he was supposed to be? Then she woke up - inside the very game she had written. A cold system prompt greeted her: [Route locked. Exit unavailable.] [Players will not die in the main storyline. As long as the body remains intact, revival is possible.] [Reminder: Maximize the target's favorability to return to reality.] There was only one problem. Her assigned target... was the King of Curses himself. Ayame had no intention of falling in love. To her, it was just a task, a dangerous game she had to clear to get home. So she played. She died. Again and again. Learned. Adapted. Survived. And still, she moved forward, raising his favorability step by step. Until- [Congratulations, player. You have obtained: Wishing Machine.] A shortcut. A perfect betrayal. Ignoring the system's warning, Ayame made her choice. And it worked. She escaped. Returned to reality. ...Or so she thought. Because the next moment- She opened her eyes in 2018. [Favorability requirement not met. Minor penalty applied.] Kurosawa Ayame had a very bad feeling about this.

Content Advisory: This story will have weapons, violence, abuse, small descriptions of gore, and other things that may trigger the reader. If any of these topics are unsettling to you, then please click off. There will be no cursing or romance involved between the main duo. REVIVAL is a fanfiction based off of Spy Vs. Spy (made by Antonio Prohias in 1961), meaning the author owns most of the story but none of the characters involved. The cover was made by P3trA_Drawz (aka the author) on Ibispaint X. Summary --- Heckel was a spy in his faction only a couple of months before Jackel joined the Black Faction. Ever since Jackel became a new member of the Black Faction, it has caused the White Faction a lot of trouble. Both sides had the same goal of stealing a top-secret blueprint of a machine that could resurrect anyone who has been recently deceased. No deaths were needed to take this blueprint, so it was just a lot of playing cat and mouse with each other. A year after Jackel became a spy, both factions were tired of going back and forth over this blueprint. So, the opposing sides worked in unison to build this resurrection machine, and it actually worked. Because both sides worked together to build this, the polarized groups agreed they could use this machine however many times they desire. Everything goes well until one of the factions exploits the use of this machine. But how does one exploit a machine that can bring back the deceased?

༺═───────────═༻ "ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ ʜᴀꜱ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ʏɪᴇʟᴅᴇᴅ. ᴜɴᴛɪʟ ɪᴛ ᴍᴇᴛ ɪᴛꜱ ᴋᴇᴇᴘᴇʀ." ༺═───────────═༻ 𝘖𝘯𝘤𝘦, in a year better forgotten, the world lost three people it loved and gained one it didn't know to look for. 𝘖𝘯𝘤𝘦, a man who broke nothing was punished for everything. 𝘖𝘯𝘤𝘦, a mother spent her last heartbeat making sure her daughter would have a first one of her own. And once - only once - a voice that didn't belong to anyone living spoke four words into the dark and was never heard again. 𝘌𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘴. It means something. No one alive remembers what. She was born to the wrong night and the right blood. She grew up half-loved by the right people and wholly haunted by the wrong story. She thought she knew how it ended. 𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵. Now the soulless pause when she walks past - as if some buried scrap of them still remembers what it felt like to want something. The Veil has begun saying her name in a voice that isn't quite its own. And somewhere far beneath everything already buried, something ancient is starting, slowly, to wake - because of her. There is a boy beside her who already knows what it costs to survive the unsurvivable. There is a family built instead of given. There is a question so old it forgot it was ever asked. Some gifts save you and ruin you in equal measure. Death has never lost. 𝘜𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘸. Disclaimer: All images used in this fanfiction are sourced from Pinterest. Death has always been said to be a permanent destination. You find comfort knowing that your endpoint won't be until the late future. In this set time, there's taciturn things society deems that you must do before you can cross over life's finish line. Make a name for yourself, live on your own, fall in love; I wish I had I known I could accomplish all three after my heart stopped beating. "Because I could not stop for death, he kindly stopped for me." - Emily Dickinson

It's a tale of loss, reflection, and renewal, emphasizing that starting over, even from ground zero, is not just okay-it's a powerful act of resilience. Through themes like revival, restoration, redemption, and regrowth, it aims to inspire and connect deeply with readers, offering hope and a reminder that renewal is always possible, no matter how far one falls.
