Tribute to Janice Burgess, my inspiration since I could hold a pencil. I was thinking about her before I found out she died. She was somebody I want to be when I am older, I hope that someday I can become a screenwriter just like her. The Story follows the main cast (and their new/old friends) ten years after the show ended. The backyardigans continued to play, sing, and dance. Until a certain grade level where Tasha, Pablo, and Tyrone moved away. The friends lived a part for some time. Now in 2024, Uniqua is going to Starlight City to showcase her dance skills which could land her a full time dance job in Paris, France. But in a rush of events, she leaves behind her ballet slippers. Now it's up to Leo (and some friends) to get to Starlight City before Uniqua performs. But not everything is what it seems. The other members of Metallica, Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield, and Kirk Hammett have since hired three bassists in Cliff's place, but no one could replace the original bassist.
