Do they yet remain, watching over this world in silence from the shadows after her demise? Or do they still wait, ever so wary of her possible third coming? They pray it never comes to pass-for this new Remnant lacks the knowledge, strength, fewer skills, naught of their souls true potential, and scarcely the unity once forged in war that's best required to stand against such darkness again. Could such a terrifying entity truly be defeated? Does her coven still stand, concealed beneath human flesh, surviving to this very day? The people of ancient Remnant once believed they had slain her, fooled into thinking victory was theirs. Yet deep within the world's core, she may still be slumbering- waiting for the moment to strike.

When the holidays came to an end, it was time for me to go back to school. The first day of school was July 1st, 2020. I got on the bus and saw my best friend, Yi-seo. Behind her sat someone else: Kim Do-yun. Everyone liked him, but I couldn't stand him. What I didn't know at the time was that he would change my life. Yi-seo is beautiful, Korean, and my best friend. She always has a listening ear and knows how to make me laugh. Kim Do-yun is the most popular boy at school. He may seem dumb, but he's rich and knows exactly how to draw attention to himself. I couldn't stand him, but he was determined to win my attention. Si-woo is an exchange student from America. He's also Korean and brings fresh energy to our school. With his charming personality, he immediately stands out. Seo-yun can't stand me especially because Do-yun, a popular guy, is giving me his attention. Her jealousy is obvious and often creates tension. Josh, Kim Do-yun's driver, sees me like his own daughter. He always has good advice for me and makes sure I feel safe. The principal is not well-liked among students. Many see him as strict, but deep down he has a softer side and shows special affection for his favorite students. Min Ji-ho is mysterious at first, but eventually opens up to me. His eyes radiate warmth that tells me he has feelings for me. Every word he says sounds like something he's said a hundred times before, but this time... it feels different. I can tell he means it and that he no longer wants to hide his affection. A-mi that's me. I'm the main character in my own life, popular at school, and a very good student. But after the holidays, everything in my life changed dramatically.
