Tuesday marked the first practice session for the Indian men's cricket team under new head coach Gautam Gambhir. The session came just before the squad's three-match T20 International series against Sri Lanka. Leading the team was Gambhir, who took over from Rahul Dravid. The practice focused on fielding drills and one-on-one conversations, with new T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav actively engaging with players. Gambhir was seen advising Shivam Dube and Sanju Samson on batting techniques. Gambhir's coaching staff includes former India all-rounder Abhishek Nayar and Dutch batsman Ryan ten Doeschate.
