In a small coastal city in Japan where rain seems to fall more often than the sun shines, two young men-Haru and Ren-have just ended their relationship. At Haru's side in a quiet hospital room, with rain tapping endlessly against the windows, Ren realizes that the arguments, the breakup, and the stubborn pride never erased what mattered most. Seeing Haru hurt forces him to confront the truth he had been avoiding: loving Haru had never stopped, not even for a moment. As the rain continues to fall over the quiet city, the two of them sit together again-still complicated, still stubborn, but finally honest about the depth of what they feel.

Life's a struggle and it's hard. There's nothing you can do. Just get trough it. I hate my life. There's nothing new. But when the sun is out and the sky is void of clouds you can't help but feel a smile is overdue

Have you ever wondered what business birds that never seem to come down from the sky might have? They're messengers, of course. Above the clouds, their rides the Nimbus. A people invisible to the human eye, with cloud instead of flesh. Sodium, an unruly young Nimbus, embarks his pigeon, Gustav, on aimless journeys every time he flies his kite. Never once has Sodium gotten a letter back, but he sends Gustav off regularly anyways. One windy day, Gustav comes back with a message tied to his foot. Spiraling into a romantic ecstasy, Sodium falls in love with his new correspondent that makes Sodium forget the time. A storm rolls into the horizon, threatening to devour everything in its path, including Sodium and his lover. Sodium hasn't said what he truly feels, and is approaching the brink of insanity trying to find the way to express himself and survive the storm.

This is basically a story involving a genderbent Marinette from Miraculous (Marin) and Adrien Agreste. It takes place when they're around the ages of 16-17 and continues from there. This is my first fanfiction, I hope you like it. FYI I was pretty much raised on classic novels so this feels a bit new.
