A Short story based of the play "a raisin in the sun" Lena lived on a cash crop farm with her parents Conrad and Patricia. Tending to crop and waking up early to wash laundry were Lenas daily chores. On her way to help her father she fell upon an unfamiliar worker. Adam. The way he talked-walked seemed so foreign to Lena. So...Interesting.

Nick is a boy who is lost in a world that has fallen to ruin, him and his friends have to learn how to survive. Will Nick and his friend stay together and find a way to survive? Or will one of them be forced to leave? The protagonists of the story are, Nick, Lyla and West, and they might find a few animals along the way..
