Kenneth Ramsayer—loner, self-proclaimed scientist, unapologetic conspiracy theorist, and rock ‘n’ roll authority. Initially an escape from the asphyxiating judgment of his parents and the incessant torments of bullies, rock ‘n’ roll became Kenn’s entire world. Providing the soundtrack to his life, defining his experiences, and leaving him with an insatiable desire for knowledge, music spoke to him while burning like an addiction; Kenn’s rock ‘n’ roll obsession could never be satisfied—there were simply too many gigs and not enough time—until now. Kenn has discovered the means to access the depth of live shows that had previously eluded him by traveling through time to any gig ever held. Discovering startling revelations in his travels, Kenn will soon find out exactly what he’s willing to sacrifice for his obsession. With a burdensome knowledge that propels him to action, Kenn will have to step up in order to prevent the death of rock ‘n’ roll. ... me acerco a la caja, no hay nadie atendiendo, pero claramente se escucha a Linkin Park de fondo en el cuarto de atrás, me asomo y no veo a nadie, al regresarme, veo mi reflejo en el mostrador espejeado en el que estoy recargada. Mierda, vaya pinta que me cargo, sangre seca en la nariz, y el pómulo un poco abierto aun, la mascara de pestañas corrida por todo mi rostro, los ojos hinchados, y el cabello enmarañado, lo único que me provocaba a mi misma eran ganas de seguir llorando. -Oye, ¿Te ayudo en algo?- dijo el chico que mágicamente apareció del otro lado del mostrador -Amm... Sí, voy a llevar esto- Respondo un poco despistada -No fue un buen día, eh- Lo volteo a ver con cara de "¿Tú que crees?", el ríe- Vale, vale, sí lo ha sido, pero, ¿Así son todos?- Antes de poderle responder, un nudo en mi garganta traga mis palabras y sube hasta mis ojos en forma de lágrimas que intenté reprimir fallidamente, el solo me mira y sin ningún tipo de remordimiento replica- Supongo que has hecho algo para cambiarlo, ¿No? -No hay mucho que pueda hacer al respecto- respondo con la mirada baja -Ah, o sea que tienes miedo, lo supuse desde que entraste- Dice muy natural -No tengo miedo- Respondo un tanto altanera y cambiando mi actitud completamente -Entonces, ¿Por qué no haces nada para salir de tu miseria? Nina Dimatteo's life was never easy. She had enough family problems to make a lesser person seek therapy, had issues with her so called 'friends' and she would literally have to save every penny if she wanted to get out and go to college and study art. Life was hard. But it just got harder. As it normally does when you wake up only to find that you got MARRIED! Oh, and don't remember it. And it certainly doesn't get any easier when her so called 'Husband' seems to irk her to the point of exploding. And won't stop calling her 'Red'! Yup, her life just got harder.
