[RANT BOOK 2] If you're looking for a "how-to" guide on picking the perfect pastel lehenga, you're in the wrong place. There are enough Pinterest boards for that. This book is the opposite. It's a deep dive into everything that makes the "Big Fat Indian Wedding" a literal fever dream and not the good kind. I'm talking about the suffocating weight of Log Kya Kahenge, the transactional "biodata" culture, the endless guest lists of people you haven't seen since you were five, and the massive pressure to just... conform. Consider this my digital burn book for the institution of marriage in India. It's a mix of late-night sarcasm, unfiltered rants, and some actually serious conversations about the stuff we usually just whisper about in the kitchen. Whether you're happily married, currently being hunted by a matchmaking auntie, or you've decided that staying single is the only way to keep your sanity-you're welcome here. Tous les petits trucs à part... (Je n'ai pas modifié cette description (et même ce livre tout simplement) depuis juillet 2017. J'avais 12 ans, j'allais passer en 5ème et, soyons honnêtes, mon humour était nul. Maintenant, j'ai 17 ans, bientôt 18, je suis en terminale, j'ai le bac à la fin/moitié de l'année et je pense qu'il est temps de rajouter cette grosse parenthèse sous une description pas du tout recherchée que je me souviens avoir écrite dans un supermarché au Portugal (pourquoi je me souviens de ça ???? Aucune idée !) Bref, vous saisissez l'idée. (Je pense surtout que vous vous en fichez pas mal, et que personne avant moi ne lira jamais ça donc bon) Bienvenue dans ce bouquin bordélique.)
