Perjodohan antara Danuja dengan Raras adalah keputusan kedua keluarga. Keduanya menolak perjodohan itu. Namun Danuja yang mendapat paksaan dari eyang kakungnya berakhir menyetujui dengan pasrah. It was a scheme, that's all it was. A scheme to get on Reyna's good side to become praetor. It wasn't supposed to be this way, he wasn't supposed to fall in love with her. Those were all thoughts that Octavian had when he realized he had fallen in love with the very praetor he was trying to overthrow.
