Its as the title says instead of Subaru, William gets transported to the world of Re Zero. The story won't produce in the same route as canon. You can definitely expect a lot of twists. For the sake of it « SPOILERS ALERT» This is my first time writing a fanfic, so pls do give me suggestions on how to improve in the comments. Hope you enjoy this.

Natsuki Subaru, one day was watching a meteor shower with his family. He figured it would be the perfect time to make a wish, a wish to be someone special, a wish to be some sort of hero. Unknown to Subaru was that very wish would come true in the most uncommon ways possible. As time passed on he regained memories of his old and past life as a very familiar pink puffball and developed some very recognizable abilities along the way. This is the story of how Natsuki Subaru became the hero of the stars. Authors note-By the time Subaru is summoned he is either going to be the ages 13-17. He'll be summoned a lot more earlier before the Rezero story takes place, so he'll be properly prepared for what's to come. He'll also be able to improve on some abilities he won't unlock until he gets summoned.

Re:forgotten spin off Subaru gets forgotten and tortured, we have heard this a million times. He escapes with his own power and becomes the sage by absorbing the other authorities from someone unexpected.

Roy Excindo was supposed to be an anime otaku, hikikomori, and just an averagely smart Grade 10 student. But somehow he ended up here, in Argentum Slimona, and started to fight for the people he called friends, as well as Outerworlders that were only supposed to exist in stories. And now he has taken out a Devil Lieutenant, a race 15 ranks higher than his own on a chart dictated by gods. The next step of his journey was supposed to go to the Twinprint Archipelago to train, where many others like him do the same. In order to prepare for the fight in the tournament taking place in the capital, Roy sets off towards the seaside! But hidden dangers and ascertain events lie ahead. Roy struggles to decide his destiny, but it all comes crashing down due to an assassin, a devil, a Wyvern, and... a god.

Kumagawa Misogi is bored to the point he wishes to go into a world of manga, any will do. God hears this and debates if he should be given a second chance starting from ZERO. Quick Note Subaru will still be in this story without dying though and he will know who Misogi is.
