Even before graduation, Vic was already traveling back and forth with her then-boyfriend Rick to Australia and soon after graduating they wed and moved permanently there. Flore, on the other hand, met Lars. Lars is a neighbor, that's smitten by her and pursue Flore for an extended period and finally wed some time after. Even though both women lived a continent apart, that didn't stopped their friendship and continues to contact each other. -*-*-*-*-*- "If you're going to take part on this, whatever this is, you should be fully committed."
