Faith Harper was put into a juvenile mental facility when she was only five years old. She was then put in foster care when she was ten years old, but she continuously ran away, and kept getting caught. When she was eighteen, she was thrown onto the cruel San Francisco streets to fend for herself with no job, no work experience. The only thing she owned was her guitar.
She learned how to fight, how to survive on the meager pay given by playing her guitar at the underground music scene. The other musicians quickly became her family, the smoky clubs her home. She would play with any band who would have her.
By chance, she met a trio that helped her just when she needed it most. And one night, she found out that they were the members of Onyx, a promising band that had already been offered several recording contracts. The singer, Creed, had denied them. But that night, the night Faith played with them, they were offered the dream of a lifetime. Faith was quickly accepted into the band officially, and they got signed on to record an album.
Yanked once again from what she knew, Faith was thrust into the world of music and fame. She quickly learned that along with it, came love, hate, and heartbreak. Quickly, as the bands fame skyrocketed, Faith's raw talent was discovered, and she was made to choose. A choice of whether to leave, to go back to the San Francisco streets, or having to sign on as her own artist, therefore leaving the other band members behind.
