ladyvillain
Li Lan Yuan was an ordinary woman with a cold, stiff expression. She was far too lazy to express her feelings; it was only when she was alone that she let her guard down.
She had just finished a web novel she found online. She'd spent the entire night devouring chapters, only to be met with a crushing disappointment of an ending.
Li Lan Yuan threw her tablet onto the bed in a fit of stress. "He was neglected and used by the heroine! Why couldn't he see that? I can't believe I stayed up all night for such a disastrous ending! Man, you were completely blinded by love!"
She scoffed, clicking through the character list. "And why did this side character with the same name as me have such a tragic ending, too? Did the writer forget to give her a background entirely?"
Tiredly, Li Lan Yuan sighed. "Whatever. I'm giving this a one-star rating."
After leaving a scathing comment on the final chapter, Li Lan Yuan finally drifted off to sleep, trying to push away her lingering anger.
When she woke up, however, she wasn't in her room. Li Lan Yuan stared at the unfamiliar ceiling with a look of pure doom, too exhausted to even properly panic. Knowing the plot and the tragic ending awaiting her, she wanted to scream.
"Pick someone else! Why me?! I'm too lazy for this!"

Li Lan Yuan tried her best to ignore the plot and live a quiet, ordinary life. She spoke only when she felt like it, though she never stopped complaining in her head. Surprisingly, her aloof attitude only drew the attention of the story's main villain.
"Stop following me," she muttered.
"You're lazy," the villain replied smoothly. "You'll collapse if you move too much. Let me carry you."
"No."
"I wasn't asking for your opinion." Before she could protest, he swept her up into a bridal carry, completely ignoring her rejection.
"Why is the plot bending now?!" Li Lan Yuan screamed internally. "You're supposed to fall in love with the heroine, not me!"
