Reed900 - Reversed AU When Richard (Nines) gets an android to accompany him on cases and missions, he doesn't handle it that well at first. GV900, as the android is called, seems to be a little upset over this too, but, androids can't feel? Unless it's already deviated. Surely they wouldn't give Richard an already deviated android, would they?

The revolution was over. Humans had won. Deviants were slaughtered in camps and the remaining were hunted down. Gavin couldn't be happier for the turn out. So then why did he like this android so much?

This is my AU. Do not steal this please and thank you. Originally created; November 15th, 2018 Published; November 16th, 2018 Also, there's gonna be some Connor x oc that starts in chapter three. Be aware owo Gavin Reed had been dating RK900 for a while now. But then they had a fight and they hated each other. Gavin was super awkward now so he quit work so he couldn't see RK900 ever again. He wanted to just forget everyone at the DPD existed. Especially RK900. He gets home and decides to search the web for things to get it all off his mind. Then he finds something. Something that will literally get it off his mind. Some sort of secret online society that erases people's minds for free by using some sort of unknown device. Then some shit goes down lmao and yeah.

Gavin gets a possible better job opportunity out of Detroit, and takes the chance. It'd just be a week of being homesick, and half the week would be him "working" a case to see if he's fit for the job. But plans change; said plans being the request that his partner, Nines, comes along too. Without saying anything about the fact that they were partners beyond simply work and that Nines was an android. What could go wrong? (Warning: Mention of homophobia in later chapters, I'll put a warning in the beginning of whatever chapter it applies to.)

After closing Ada's case, Gavin and Nines return to normal life with the addition of their new relationship. However, love alone can't change Gavin Reed. It can't erase the struggles of his past or his hostile temperament, and his relationship with Nines pays the price. Following yet another argument late at night, Gavin storms out of the precinct alone. He doesn't return to work in the morning, and a haunting clue suggests there may be more to Gavin's disappearance than a temper tantrum. When a mysterious person contacts Nines and reveals they have taken Gavin hostage, Nines is given a choice: kill Markus, so Gavin's captor can take his place and lead androids to supremacy above all beings, or find Gavin's body in the Detroit River. Faced with the impossible decision of choosing between the man he loves and the man who gave him his freedom, Nines is determined to find another way. However, if he fails to find a solution soon enough, his decision might just be made for him.
