Haru was the residential school bookworm, rarely did he ever speak to someone that was not interested in either literature or swimming. He was referred as cold-hearted and self-centered and others never actually got to know his personality before giving him a label. He was practically a nobody. A loner. Makoto was the high school sweetheart, everyone loved him, even the teachers. He was always kind to others and easily got into conversations that were able to bring smiles to everyones faces around him, the exact opposite of Haru. But one thing that shocked a lot of people, was when Makoto and Haru actually became friends with each other. Not many knew why though.

He believed that the earth was a corrupt land filled with corrupt people and corrupt laws. Nothing good ever came out of the city he lived in, it was riddled with crime and fraud, so, naturally, it didn't come to much of a surprise when the incident happened that day. However, it did leave him with one extra question floating around his mind: "Is it possible for your kidnapper to become your greatest treasure...?"

Nagisa is always looking for a way to get Rei alone and confess his love to him little does he know Rei has the exact same plan for Nagisa.

Summary:

Definition: Mended; to fix or repair something/one mentally or physically. It has been three years since Haru's departure and Makoto is studying at the Tokyo university. Everything is planned out and offered to Makoto until familiar faces tumble back into his life, shaking up his future.

Rei has been diagnosed with breast cancer, along with an unknown disease that's been passed around by his family. He's been staying months and months in an old, crummy, hospital. Nagisa has always been by his side, forever and always. But time always has an end... Right? ((All the characters in Free! are at least 24, so they don't do the Swim Team anymore. A Rei x Nagisa sad one shot :3))

Nagisa's struggle to keep his grades up has come to the attention of his parents, who sign him up for an after-school tutor. Nagisa isn't thrilled about this idea, but once he meets his tutor he changes his mind. Will this new character be able to save Nagisa's grades, or is it too late?
