(Y/n) grew up with Haru, Makoto, Rin and Nagisa. They we're always together. Makoto and (y/n) were especially close, they were never separated. (Y/n) had met Makoto first, she never had any friends, but kind cute little Makoto became her first friend and introduced her to the others, and they all became best friends. Over the years, as they all got older, (Y/n) began to discover that she has always had feelings for Makoto. The problem is, she doesn't want to admit it, in fear of losing her best friend. What she doesn't know, is Makoto is having the exact same problem. Hahaha I know it sounds cheesy but pleASE read the story!!

Free!, its characters, or any images used are not mine. Nagisa and Rei struggle with their feelings for each other. They are troubled in different ways, but for the same reason. Rei struggles to accept that he is gay. He wishes he felt more than just friendship to girls. His parents are homophobic, so he grew up believing that being gay is wrong. What makes it worse is he is in love with his hyper best friend. He is struggling to believe that what he is feeling does not meet his beautiful expectations, and that he may have to live the rest of his life feeling this way. Nagisa has begun to realize he is gay, and has started to accept it... However, he is keeping these emotions trapped inside, not telling anyone. He knows his family won't accept him for liking guys. He really does love Rei, but he doesn't know how to cope with these emotions by himself. Everyday he puts on a smile and pretends that nothing is going on, but he comes closer and closer to reaching is breaking point.

Haru was the residential school bookworm, rarely did he ever speak to someone that was not interested in either literature or swimming. He was referred as cold-hearted and self-centered and others never actually got to know his personality before giving him a label. He was practically a nobody. A loner. Makoto was the high school sweetheart, everyone loved him, even the teachers. He was always kind to others and easily got into conversations that were able to bring smiles to everyones faces around him, the exact opposite of Haru. But one thing that shocked a lot of people, was when Makoto and Haru actually became friends with each other. Not many knew why though.

In denial about the ending of Free! Eternal Summer? Of course you are. Well, do I have the fanfic for you! This story follows our characters after the third years graduate, focusing on newly made captain Rei and his "friend" Nagisa. Several pairings are explored in this story, including ReiGisa (of course), MakoHaru, and RinTori.

Rei has been diagnosed with breast cancer, along with an unknown disease that's been passed around by his family. He's been staying months and months in an old, crummy, hospital. Nagisa has always been by his side, forever and always. But time always has an end... Right? ((All the characters in Free! are at least 24, so they don't do the Swim Team anymore. A Rei x Nagisa sad one shot :3))

2018 update: i'm sorry but i'm not going to continue this as of right now - nagisa is a happy, energetic boy, excited for his soulmate. rei is more stiff than him and doesn't actually believe in the soulmates thing. but they have the same date on their wrists, implying they're soulmates. nagisa is desperate for love from his soulmate, hoping to god that everything will work out when they meet. rei, on the other hand, could not care less about a relationship, he just wants to be proven right.
