Raven came out of the closet hoping for acceptance but her overly religious reserved father turned out to be an extreme homophobehence taking the measure of sending Raven to live with nuns while they 'cure' her gay away. But could he have predicted sending his gay daughter to a place full of women would only back fire?. "We are here to pray Raven" Mother Superior glared at me in warning. "All we do is pray. Can we discuss how you have managed to be a 36 year old virgin?" I ask the very strict uptight woman in front of me. "I committed to celibacy and purity" "Yes but does that mean you never get worked up. You obviously still have hormones and I'm sure you get wet sometimes" "Raven!"

Katsuki Bakugo has always known the rules-his family's faith doesn't just guide life in their small Midwestern town, it defines it. Every Sunday sermon, every whispered expectation, every reminder of who he's supposed to be presses against him like a weight he can't escape. And then there's Deku. Deku, who comes from a home full of cracks and silence, who has learned to live with disappointment but still somehow carries hope. Deku sees Kastuki more clearly than anyone ever has. And despite everything, Katsuki can't stop feeling something too-something real, something forbidden. But acting on those feelings would shatter everything he has been taught to believe. So he does what he's always done: pushes it down and prays. Deku waits. He waits through the months of hesitation, the nights Katsuki pulls away, the moments that almost become confessions. He waits for Kat to choose him-or at least to choose himself. In a town where everyone is watching and judgment comes easy, Katsuki and Deku have to decide whether what they feel is worth the fallout.

THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE HARMFUL TO ANY RELIGION, INCLUDING CHRISTIANITY This story is about kids who were taught a very twisted and harmful version of Christianity but this is not anywhere near similar to how Christians, Mormons, or any other traditional religion thinks. Eliana is 16 years old and a child of 'The Faith of Eternal Dawn' cult. She is one of few girls who fought against the people freeing her from the cult. Most of the girls were separated from each other to places they could get the help they needed. Now Eliana, still holding tight to the cruel faith she was taught, has been placed into a mental hospital with a girl from the same cult who she had barely spoken to, Selah. Eliana and Selah are kept separate from each other to try and protect them from twisting each other's mind and harming their psyches. But all they want is to find comfort in each other, even if that means they have to sneak around to get it.

🥇 1st Place - Best Prologue (Whispers Beneath the Ice mini-awards, 2025) 🥈 2nd Place - Best Writing Style (Enchanted Grave Awards, 2025) ⸻ ✧ ⸻ Beneath the earth, the sun is only a memory - and its light is no longer free. The powerful have bottled it, priced it, and called it holy. Every flicker, every breath, must be paid for in Lumen. Lucy Farrow was born in the Gloom, where the air tastes of rust and hope is a dangerous thing. Her mother taught her to keep her glow low - to survive unseen. But when the light inside her begins to stir, Lucy's secret could unravel the order that keeps their divided city alive. High above, in the marble halls of the Halo, Prince Cassian Soleyne uncovers a secret among ink and dust - a forbidden lineage that could unmake the order he was born to protect. His duty is to snuff it out: his heart tells him to save it. Between them rises the Veil: a wall of soot-black stone and blinding searchlights, dividing the blessed from the broken. As rebellion brews in the dark and doubt kindles in the light, their paths will cross - and together they will awaken a fire long thought dead. A Radiant who could bring back the dawn... or burn the world to ash. ⸻ ✧ ⸻ Lucy approached the marble stairs of the Distribution Point, feeling smaller with every step. Even after so many visits, its splendour still swallowed her whole. Inside, chandeliers of bottled light bathed clerks and soldiers in scarlet. Behind the wooden barrier, white-gloved hands counted Credits and passed bottles of gold to the waiting poor. A cry tore through the hush. "No, I swear, these Credits are real -" The clerk's reply was colder than stone. "One is counterfeit. Guards!" Boots thundered. The woman screamed as Veil Guards dragged her away, her voice fading into the city's endless hum. The line moved. "Next." Lucy stepped forward, clutching her satchel. The Credits inside jingled - Mother had checked them twice, but still her hands trembled.

Alec John Belle, after finishing his Memento Vivere and Memento Mori poetry duology, told himself that he would not write another poetry book until he had the perfect concept for something to write. Just days after finishing Memento Mori and making that promise to himself, a title fell into his head - Okay, I Know I'm Problematic (But At Least I'm Good At It!). Here, Belle goes on a journey through self-discovery, talking about things he has never dared to in any of his other books. In this trauma-informed, healing-imbued, brutally-honest, and love-filled poetry book, readers will dive into the mind of Alec John Belle for the first time ever as he leans into his most authentic, conscientious, and straightforward work to date. While Belle doesn't hold back, he treats every poem with the utmost care, even with some of the darkest, most harsh, critical, sharp, and severe topics he's ever written. Reader before, not all of these poems are for the faint of heart and can potentially be triggering to those with mental health issues. Come along for the ride as Belle's grimmest, yet witty, playful, and sarcastic, poems bring about mending of hearts and renewing of broken souls.

Some books exist to entertain. Others are meant to educate. And then there are those rare texts that make the reader feel like an accomplice-not to a crime, but to an act of understanding. The Iranian Diary belongs to this rare breed. The cycle comprises three novellas-Isfahan, Shiraz, and Fordo-which must be read in that precise order, even though Shiraz is chronologically a prequel. This is no authorial whim, but a deliberate architectural choice: each subsequent story subverts your understanding of the last, much like flipping an hourglass only to discover that the sand had been flowing the wrong way all along
