It's their their year in college, but it's the day of Ruby and Moody's wedding. But is preparing for it going to go smoothly? Definitely not. Anne is a bridesmaid, and Gilbert is best man. Can these two help soothe the nerves of the young groom and bride?

Imagine this is the opening scene of Episode 1 of Season 4 for Anne with an E

This takes place after season 3 ep10 of Anne With An E. These are the first few letters exchanged between Anne and Gilbert.

A sudden event cuts the year at Queens short for Anne and Diana as news from Avonlea arrives in a telegram. Gilbert and Anne have not seen each other in over 9 month's and their relationship evolves awkwardly from rival, to friends to romantic. Jerry and Diana's paths cross in an unexpected way which creates tension with so many things now changed. Disclaimer: the characters in this story do not belong to me. They are based on Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery and Anne with an E the series by Moira Walley-Becket and Northwood Entertainment.

Gilbert Blythe loves Anne and her strong sense of justice is something he admires. But he worries about her safety. Anne tries to save ka'kwet . But it comes at a cost. It is set post season 3. Filled with major angst and some fluff. " Gilbert is the most sad and handsome."

After a successful protest, the students of the Avonlea Schoolhouse are celebrating at Ms. Stacy's house. Anne steps out for a breath of fresh air. So does Gilbert. *wink wink*
