Gilbert is pretty clueless when it comes to comforting Anne. But what if he wasn't? What if he comforted her after she came back from visiting the orphanage instead of sniffing Winnie's flower like an idiot? What if....?

The Avonlea girls have begun their journey at Queens; Gilbert has begun his at the University of Toronto; Jerry has just moved in with Matthew and Marilla at Green Gables; Ka'wet is still at the school in Halifax with her parents still waiting for her. What happened to all of them after the show ended? That "remains to be seen".

Clara WIlliams has lived in Avonlea for most of her life, and she's known Gilbert Blythe for just as long. Despite the rough start to their friendship, the pair have always been there when they needed one another because of a promise they made as children. They were promised to never leave the other alone, but it's not how it worked out. After his father's death, Gilbert left on a journey to find himself, leaving Clara alone and lost. While he's gone, Clara does her best to make it through the challenges life throws at her and ends up finding herself. It's not until Gilbert comes back that either of them realize the rift that one broken promise caused. Can they go back to how it was before? Will their feelings for each other finally be admitted? Or will the two of them remain friends for the rest of their lives? And most importantly, how much damage can a broken promise cause?

"Tragical romance and all?" "Remains to be seen" Anne and her friends, alongside achieving their academical aspirations, navigate the next chapter of their lives. They dodge troubles, experience the wonders of the world, form meaningful relationships as times pass by and strengthen their lives by supporting one another and being kindred spirits like they were always meant to be. They blossom over the years, however still maintaining their child like innocence to spike their curiosity ; everything captured between the pages as Anne looks back in time and hopes for a future, shining brightly like the Sun.

Anne and Gilbert used to be best friend until he decided to leave Anne and become popular. It will be start of a new year in high school where Anne and Gilbert face each other. They hate One another or it's it just Anne? Will They become friends again?lovers? stay enemies? Let's just say it gonna be one long school year. This will be set In modern day. It may include text/group chats,post,and calls.

Anne is now a full time student at Queens Academy, a place where many journeys await. New dangers, new friends, and new romances blossom as Anne faces some of her biggest adventures yet. The way I will be writing it most likely will not fit in with just one season. If I decide to keep up with the story, it'll be going through many different years in Anne's life, starting after the end of season 3. All of it will be based of of the show, and loosely based off of the events in L.M. Montgomery's books. {What to expect: ...Lots of shirbert (because of course) a few other ships too for subplots, and since I want it to feel like an actual season of the show, there are a few different main plots that will be introduced as well.} Don't forget to comment what you think! After a successful protest, the students of the Avonlea Schoolhouse are celebrating at Ms. Stacy's house. Anne steps out for a breath of fresh air. So does Gilbert. *wink wink*

"Anne felt the tears well up in her eyes as she ran as fast as she could. Away from it all. She could hear Josie Pye's voice taunting her again and again. No, it wasn't only Josie. It was her entire life taunting her ever since her parents had died and the worst part was that it was true...... all of it. Even the part about Gilbert. Anne stopped to catch her breath at the Lake of Shining Waters. On a normal night, Anne would have breathed in awe as the lake reflected the beautiful lights of the infinite stars in the dark night sky, but all Anne could feel was despair. She sat there shivering in the cold until she heard she heard a dreadfully familiar voice. "Anne!!!!", Anne turned around and locked with a pair of brown with a hint of green. Gilbert Blythe. " (So this is a remake of the story I wrote before because I hated the other one. This is mostly a sherbert story but will obviously feature all the other characters as well and their lives. I also want to add a lot more action scenes which I wish were in the tv show.)
