In this world rifts have opened up and monsters pour out of them. The monsters wreak havoc, until Reid Miora save the day. He is made a Hero and Reid founds an academy to train more Heros. but the academy is exclusive, so the world has a shortage of Heros. In response a groups called The Brothers had risen. They took out many rift and saved many lives, but did so illegally. Twelve years ago they mysteriously disappeared. Over the year different copycat groups have popped up, but none were as successful. Rowan is a young man, the son of the previous #1 Hero. He runs a store in Hero city, but he struggles to keep up with his brother's expensive medical bills. One day a mysterious duo enters Rowan's shop, they offer him a sketchy deal to make potions for them. Desperate to save his brother, Rowan blindly agrees not realizing he has involved himself in a group claiming to be The Brothers.
